The medical team at Silverstone prides itself in providing exceptional medical care in the pre-hospital environment. We do this by utilising a varied and dynamic team of medical professionals across all areas of the medical services.
Our team work from our on site medical centre, positioned in the middle of the circuit, right next to the national pits and paddock. This facility is one of the best medical facilities of all racing circuits in the world and is equipped with some of the most advanced equipment available. Our medical centre has the following:

- An imaging suite, equipped with the latest digital x-ray and ultrasound equipment courtesy of Philips Healthcare
- A burns unit

Our team consists of

- Emergency Medical Technicians
- Emergency Care Assistants
We are always interested to hear from potential new members of the team, so if you think you have what it takes to work in motorsport medicine complete and return an application.
Once applications are received they are assessed and successful candidates will be invited to attend an assessment day. These days are held at four times over the year and consist of an informal interview and practical assessments in life support and trauma management. If you complete the assessment successfully the next step is attending a race meeting to observe, what the team do. This is an invaluable experience as motorsport medicine is not for everyone.
After all this is completed if both you and the medical services team are happy you will be invited to join the team and will be issued with logon details to our online team management system.
