The British F3 International and GT Series make a welcome return to Silverstone. For 61 years British Formula 3 has been producing the Grand Prix stars of the future, including Jackie Stewart, Nelson Piquet and Ayrton Senna who went on to Grand Prix greatness. More recently 2009/2010 champions Daniel Ricciardo and Jean-Eric Vergne have graduated to F1 and this season’s crop of talent looks no less exciting.
With glamorous supercars racing bumper to bumper, ground shaking noise, breathtaking speeds and all the drama of pit stops and driver changeovers, the British GT Championship offers an incredible motorsport experience. Silverstone will host the penultimate round of the series, a spectacular three hour endurance race, and with a field comprising a number of the latest in GT3 machinery it will surely be one not to miss.
