Firmly established as the World’s biggest classic motor racing festival, the annual Silverstone Classic features massive grids starring the very finest F1, GT, touring and sportscars from past generations. The event is now so big that both Silverstone National and new Wing pits/paddock complexes have to be maximised just to house the mouth-watering array of 800+ classic racing cars valued conservatively at more than £300m.
This year we'll also be joining in the the 50th Anniversary celebrations for AC Cobra, Lotus Elan & MGB, as well as hosting the UK's first Z-Fest for owners of BMW sportscars.
With an open paddock policy and free grandstand seats, the event boasts a relaxed ‘access all areas’ atmosphere allowing enthusiasts a rare chance to see some of the world’s most famous competition cars up close. This year’s on track highlights include special races for Group C prototypes, DFV-powered F1 cars, Fifties Le Mans cars plus special new showdown for touring cars from the Eighties and Nineties. And the fun doesn’t stop there…
Adding to the three-day family festival are vast displays of classic cars, a huge retail village, air displays, fun fair plus a host of other attractions including the new AA World with driving experience for all ages and live music from classic rock and pop bands. This year’s line-up includes Adam Ant plus Mike and the Mechanics.
Entrance to the full entertainment package – including the live music – is included in the ticket price.
