The Britcar Endurance series will host six races on Saturday; 2 x 90min Endurance Championship Races, 1x 90min Endurance Sports and Touring car Champion Race and 3 x 30mins Trophy Series races. A day packed with racing for all the family, there is no better reason to visit Silverstone to get up close and personal with the vehicles.
Britcar Endurance Championship – driven by professional and gentlemen drivers, the Endurance Championship is the flagship of Britcar. It caters for out and out GT cars with Le Mans levels of performance, such as; Porsche 911 RSR's, Ferrari GT2's, GTC Ferrari ‘s, Aston Martin GT4’s, and Ginetta G50's. The Endurance Championship is the headline event and has support from the Britcar family of races. There are three classes within the championship, identified by colours on the sunstrip and number panels, with class 1 – red, class 2 – green and class 3 – blue.
Britcar Sports & Touring Car Championship – powered by engines derived from road cars and driven by professional and gentleman drivers. Sports and Touring cars recognisable as everyday cars you will see on the road, but with racing development parts. The races have a joint grid with the Endurance Championship. There are two classes within this race, identified by colours on the sunstrip, with class 4 – orange and class 5 – black.
Britcar Trophy Series – the new Britcar Trophy Series is designed for the gentleman drivers who wish to enjoy shorter races with break’s between races. There are three classes within this race, identified by colours on the sunstrip, with class 1 – red, class 2 – green, class 3 – blue, class 4 – orange and class 5 – black.
