Overview

Japfest is returning for its 3rd year at the home of British Motorsports, Silverstone Circuits on Sunday 6th May 2018, with over 16,000 attendees and 3,500 cars on display or on the circuit.  Whilst Japfest is operating on the National Circuit the Classic Sports Car Club will also be racing around the International Circuit.

Thousands of display cars representing the UK’s major Japanese car clubs will fill the vast Silverstone site and the largest trade and exhibition area of its type will be bustling with a large variety of shops, while there will be a series of all-day track action, including the much anticipated return of the Drift Kings epic winner takes all showdown.

Display Tickets
If you’re not part of a club and have a Japanese car, you can still be part of the show! You can purchase an Individual Display ticket which allows you display your car in our dedicated Non-Club Paddock Area.

Photography
Photography UK will once again be trading at the show, offering arrival photographs for show-goers and whilst on-track with professional photographers situated both on the bridge and tunnel entrance.

Drive The Track
If you’ve always wanted to take to the famous Silverstone National Circuit, you can take your own car out on track! We have sessions throughout the day to suit all abilities: Notice, Intermediate & advance.

  • Where can i find out more about disabled accessibility?

    As part of our commitment to make the show accessible to all we will provide those disabled ticket holders that require full time assistance with 1 free ticket for a partner, accompanying friend or personal assistant (PA).

    You will need to provide a copy of your most recent Personal Independence Payment form (PIP) showing your current entitlement and your ‘blue badge’ if car parking is required. On arrival at the show please liaise with the staff on the gates when presenting your entry ticket.

  • Are there any cash points on site?

    Yes, there will be a cash machine located in the Paddock Diner.

  • Can you purchase Silverstone merchandise at the event?

    Yes, Silverstone shops sell a variety of merchandise! The Paddock Shop will be open during the Japfest event. Alternatively buy online in advance to avoid disappointment!

  • Can you purchase suncream/ batteries/ plaster films/ cameras/ emergency medicines etc at the event?

    Yes, Silverstone merchandise shops sell these essential items!

  • Can i use my push bike around the circuit?

    Bikes can sometimes be used at the circuit though they are not advised at this event as the circuit is too busy.

  • Can i leave and re-enter in one day?

    Yes, this is possible; please ensure the staff at the gate stamp your hand as you leave the circuit. Re-entry to the site will only be permitted if the person has their hand stamped and is in possession of a valid ticket for the event. Please review the timetable to check last re-entry times each day.

  • Can i take photos?

    Photographic equipment, mobile telephones and other communications devices are permitted within the venue provided that they are used for personal and private non-commercial purposes.

  • I have not received my e-tickets

    All tickets will be sent via email along with your confirmation email after purchase. If you have not received your e-ticket before the event please visit the Japfest website.

  • Do children need a ticket?

    Two children aged 14 and under are FREE with each paying adult. Additional children are priced at £5 each. Tickets can be purchased from the Japfest website.

  • Can i buy a ticket on the gate?

    Yes you can. We highly recommended buying in advance to avoid disappointment and in order to gain the best ticket prices.

  • What credit/debit cards do you accept?

    We accept most major credit and debit cards with the exception of American Express & Diners Club cards.

  • Where can blue badge holders park?

    There are a number of disabled parking areas available please call 0844 3728 232 for more information.

  • Where can i park/ travel options?

    To ensure your visit to Silverstone runs as smoothly as possible please ensure you leave plenty of time for your journey and to make the most of your day.

    Parking on site is free please follow signs for public parking and take directions from our car parking stewards.

    The nearest mainline train stations are Milton Keynes and Northampton. Please check connecting bus services in order to ensure you can connect to Silverstone at a convenient time. Alternatively it is a short taxi journey to Silverstone from these stations. Approx 30mins.

    Delays can be expected due to heavy traffic on the A43, on the slip roads and the Dadford Road between 7.00am-11.00am and 4.00pm-7.00pm. We would advise if you are travelling at these times, that you leave plenty of time for your journey.

  • Where can i park overnight?

    Unfortunately Silverstone does not have overnight parking in its car parks and public car parks will be closed overnight.

  • What time do car parks open?

    Car parks open up to half an hour before circuit gate opening times. Please note that this is subject to change.

  • How can i purchase camping tickets?

    Weekend tickets are priced at £37 and include entry to Japfest and one nights camping on Saturday 5 May.

  • Can I bring a BBQ into the venue?

    No, BBQs are not permitted inside the venue.

  • Food & Drink

    We have a wide range of vendors around the circuit for all tastes. We have traditional hot snacks such as burgers, fish & chips, jacket potatoes and pies to paninis, baguettes and vegetarian food – but we’re sure you’ll find numerous other options that are very tempting indeed. There are also a number of licensed bars serving beer and other refreshments. Please kindly note that no glass bottles are allowed to be brought into the circuit at any time. You will be asked to leave any glass bottles at the gates if you do bring them.

  • Silverstone policy statement on illegal substances

    Silverstone Circuits Ltd and the police have a zero tolerance policy to illegal substances. The dealing in or use of illegal drugs is not condoned by Silverstone Circuits Ltd. Drug enforcement laws are as applicable on site as anywhere else in the country. Police officers and security guards will be on site and will deal with drug offences in accordance with national guidelines. Neither anti-social nor illegal behaviour will be tolerated. You may be searched at the entrance. Any items which the organisers consider may be used in an illegal or offensive manner will be confiscated. Persons suspected of carrying out illegal and / or offensive activities onsite may be searched. If you do get caught you will be escorted off the site and refused re-admission.
