Tickets are available on from Silverstone for Saturday and Sundays track actions for just £10 per person, or arrive after 3.30pm on Sunday for free entry to the firework display!
The 2014 season will finish on a high with the annual Walter Hayes Trophy Event, providing exciting track action with the FF1600, open and closed wheel races and new for 2014, the Ladies All comers race. With some of the busiest grids in the calendar, this Event is sure to provide a great weekend with Driver’s from around the world lining up in a series of races.
The Walter Hayes Trophy is the premier Formula Ford contest, which attracts competitors from around the world, with the stars of tomorrow battling the Formula Ford masters of today. The competition, run in qualifying heats graduates to a spectacular 36 car Final on the Sunday afternoon. The Saturday heats are supported by races Historic cars on the Saturday, and a mixture of modern and historic cars on the Sunday. There will also be special ladies only handicap race for closed wheel cars on the Sunday.Organised in association with the British Women Racing Drivers Club this will be part of a record attempt to get the most number of ladies taking part in a race event.
The Walter Hayes Trophy will also host Silverstone’s annual Fireworks display on Sunday evening – a firm favourite with the local communities and motorsport fans alike. Download this years WHT Poster here.
Please note that the M1 Northbound has planned night closures between junction 16 to 18 on Saturday 1st November. These closures will between the hours of 9am and 6am on the following day. Traffic will be diverted towards Daventry onto the A45. Please ensure you leave extra time to/from Silverstone if you are travelling during these hours.
