Hip-hop and soul artist Plan B signed to perform at Silverstone GoPro™ MotoGP™ event

Award-winning hip-hop and soul artist, actor and director Plan B will be headlining the main stage at the GoPro™ MotoGP™ at Silverstone on August 25.

Silverstone will host the UK’s most prestigious motorcycle race from August 24 to 26 at the Northamptonshire circuit.

Plan B, whose real name is Ben Drew, will be performing tracks from all of his four albums including the latest Heaven Before All Hell Breaks Loose on stage at the Saturday evening’s entertainment.

Former Brit Award winner Plan B said: “I’m really excited about performing at the GoPro™ MotoGP™ event in August and I’m looking forward to being there at the UK’s biggest motorcycle racing event. Headlining the main stage of the entertainment area will be good fun and I hope everyone enjoys their Saturday night at Silverstone.”

Silverstone has a long heritage of being at the heart of motorcycling, and first hosted the British motorcycle Grand Prix in 1977, and continues to host the British MotoGP™ today.

The racing is set to be even faster and even closer this year thanks to a huge investment in resurfacing the entire Grand Prix track with a fresh asphalt surface in order to smooth out a bumpy track.

General admission tickets for the GoPro™ British MotoGP™ can be purchased here. Prices start at £25, with kids under 10 going free.
