Well here it is! 2012 draws to a close in spectacular style. A formidable season of racing is accompanied by an incredible year for British sport that no one will forget.

Formula 1® finished in epic style, with all the drama and suspense continuing past Brazil as Ferrari pushed the boundaries of regulations to see if Alonso could triumph. It was not to be, however, and we saw Vettel victorious for the third time!

Our Brits performed well in the last two races of the season. Hamilton reached the podium, furnished with stetson and cowboy boots, at the Circuit of the Americas in Texas. Button took the final podium of the year at Interlagos, his third, to give the McLaren-Mercedes team their 7th win of the season.

Looking towards 2013, there is more promising news for British fans with a fourth driver being added to the grid, as Marussia have signed Max Chilton to partner Timo Glock. Romain Gorsjean has also re-signed with Lotus to leave limited space on the entry list for the new season.

Elsewhere on four-wheels, Honda have named an unchanged team of Matt Neal and defending champion Gordon Shedden for the 2013 BTCC season. The new World Endurance Championship calendar has been finalised and we are proud to host the first race of the season, with '6 hours of Silverstone' taking place on the 12-14 April.

The world of two-wheels is also giving us real reason to 'Back the Brits' as we enter the 2013 season. Cal Crutchlow reached the podium twice during his 2012 MotoGP spell and has now reached a new deal with his team, Tech 3, where he is joined by fellow Brit Bradley Smith. Michael Laverty adds a third Briton to the 2013 MotoGP grid as he joins the PBM team.

Yamaha also have a strong team heading into the new season, with Rossi returning to join up with reigning 2012 champion Jorge Lorenzo.

With so much happening in the world of motor sport, 2013 looks like it's gearing up to be another exciting and extraordinary year, and we are proud to be at the heart of it all!
