2013 Events Kick Off

As the whole world gears up for the 2013 race season, there is news of testing, teams and new faces across all the disciplines.
In Formula 1 we have the first test of the season at Jerez next week, giving a first glimpse at the new teams and cars, including McLaren's MP4-28 and Lotus' E21. We will also see Marussia launching their MR02 at Jerez on Tuesday, in the hands of British rookie Max Chilton, our fourth British driver on the grid for this year's championship.
Today we see Force India launch their VJM06 here at Silverstone, as well as ongoings over in Italy, with Ferrari unveiling their F138 for Alonso and Massa to contend their strong 2012 seasons at 2nd and 7th respectively.
For MotoGP we have a news story on Dorna's new qualifying format, giving rise to a more exciting spectacle for fans across the globe. Whilst Casey Stoner has confirmed his move to V8 Supercars, although he hints at a return to MotoGP "if the sport changes dramatically".
In British Touring Cars, coming to Silverstone 28-29 September, Carrera Cup GB ace Sam Tordoff is revealed as the team-mate of Jason Plato at MG KX Momentum Racing, as Plato aims to challenge for the title alongside Shedden again during this campaign.
