Following the success of last year’s inaugural poll, Silverstone has today launched the 2012 Silverstone Media Awards, inviting motor sport fans to vote for their favourite source of news from the 2012 Formula 1™ and MotoGP™ seasons.
As the chequered flag comes down on an action packed season of motor sport, Silverstone is asking fans to vote for the journalists who have kept them up-to-date, throughout the year, with all the latest news and gossip from the worlds of F1 and MotoGP™. Categories include best ‘National Newspaper’, ‘Television Channel’, ‘Motor Sport Magazine’, ‘Bike Publication’, ‘Bloggers’, ‘Tweeters’ and ‘Websites’ for both race series
More than 5,000 F1 and MotoGP™ fans voted in the first ever Silverstone Media Awards in 2011, with the winners presented trophies in recognition of their success.

All entries will be included in a prize draw to win two hospitality places to either the FORMULA 1 BRITISH GRAND PRIX (28 – 30 June) or the MotoGP™ British Grand Prix (30 August – 02 September) in 2013. Ten runners-up will each receive a Silverstone Goody Bag*.
