Rider appearances confirmed for fantastic weekend of Silverstone MotoGP™ entertainment

- MotoGP™ riders confirmed for appearances and interviews on Saturday

The FIM MotoGP™ World Championship returns to Silverstone this weekend (30 August – 01 September) for the Hertz British Grand Prix. In his most successful season to date, Britain’s Cal Crutchlow will go head-to-head with the best riders in the world, including World Champions Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo, and will be aiming to secure his fifth podium of the season and first ever win, in front of his home crowd.

With spectacular on-track action guaranteed, Silverstone has developed a world class line-up of free off-track entertainment, including appearances from all 24 MotoGP™ riders after Qualifying on Saturday. The riders will be interviewed at various intervals between approximately 16:45 and 18:30hrs on Saturday evening on a purpose-built concert stage in the Luffield Complex area.

As well as live entertainment on the main stage on Friday and Sunday, Saturday’s rider appearances will be topped and tailed with live music from acts including James Toseland and his band, and indie group ‘The Establishment’.

Additional entertainment planned for the British Grand Prix weekend ranges from stunt shows and aerobatic displays, to interactive experiences that include off-road riding sessions and ‘first-time’ taster sessions.
