Following a record-breaking crowd at this year’s MotoGP™ British Grand Prix, a thrilling British round of World Superbikes and a nail-biting penultimate round of the British Superbike Championship, Silverstone is already gearing up for more exciting two-wheeled action in 2014. Looking ahead to next season, the Northamptonshire circuit is offering ‘show-only’ discounts on tickets to next year’s events for fans attending Motorcycle Live at the NEC, Birmingham (23 November – 01 December).

Located in Hall 2, Silverstone’s adjoining stands (numbers 2B30 and 2A29) are bigger and better than ever, and promise to create a buzz thanks to exclusive discounts for visitors. Fans can take advantage of a number of special offers, including 3 for 2 on General Admission tickets for next year’s MotoGP™ (29-31 August 2014), tickets from just £20 for the Silverstone round of the MCE British Superbike Championship (03-05 October 2014), and 10% off Silverstone’s 2014 bike track days, when booked at the show.

As well as great savings and the latest information on all of Silverstone’s 2014 bike events and track days, visitors will also be able to get up close to Scott Redding’s 2013 Marc VDS Racing Team Moto2™ bike, which will be on display at the Silverstone stand for the duration of the show.

A number of riders, including Scott and fellow British star, MotoGP™ rider Bradley Smith (Monster Yamaha Tech 3 Team), will be making appearances on Silverstone’s main stand throughout the course of the show. Scott, who is the youngest motorcycle Grand Prix winner in history, will be meeting fans at the stand on Monday 25 November at 11.30am. He will be presented with his own brick for the new Silverstone ‘Wall of Fame’, in recognition of his stunning Moto2™ victory at Silverstone this year. Scott will also visit the stand for an autograph session on the morning of Friday 29 November, while Bradley will be appearing on Saturday 30 November between 11:00-11:30am.

In addition to taking part in interviews and autograph sessions, the riders will be setting lap times around the Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit on the MotoGP™ 2013 simulator game, situated on the main Silverstone stand. Members of the public will have the chance to try and beat the pro-riders’ times, with prizes for those setting the fastest lap time on each day.

Silverstone will also be running Rookie Ride taster sessions in Hall 2 for budding motorbike enthusiasts aged 11 years and upwards. The 20-minute taster sessions, on Yamaha JogRR 50cc scooters, provide the perfect introduction to two-wheels in a fun, controlled environment, with full safety kit supplied and expert guidance from Silverstone instructors. Bookings for the Rookie Ride sessions will be taken at stand 2A29, with signing on at stand 2A20.
