The Mobility Roadshow incorporating Get Going Live!
For over 30 Years, The Mobility Roadshow, organised by the charity Mobility Choice, has been helping to meet the nation’s mobility needs. DMUK is a long-standing supporter having attended the first Roadshow in 1983 (as formerly DDA and DDMC) and every year since! From 26–28th May, this unmissable and popular event, incorporating Get Going Live! takes place for the first time at the magnificent Silverstone Circuit, home to the British Grand Prix.
UK and international visitors will have the free opportunity to test drive adapted and wheelchair accessible vehicles (WAVS) around the historic Silverstone circuit accompanied by professional drivers. Visitors will also be able to discover the largest range of adapted driving controls available today – no other show has this remarkable range. Whether through the Motability scheme or private ownership, disabled drivers and passengers seeking the ideal solution for assisted driving will be able to compare and contrast a diverse selection of vehicles and adaptations all in one location.

Gold Sponsors Autoadapt, Elap, Mobility Networks and Kivi, will be showcasing their accessible vehicles and driving adaptations alongside other leading conversion specialists such as Sirus Automotive and Lewis Reed.

Get Going Live! also benefits mature drivers who may wish to explore options for safer, more comfortable driving. As Get Going Live! is incorporated into the Mobility Roadshow, visitors can take advantage of a wealth of specialist mobility products and services on display in the impressive.
Amongst the 2016 exhibitors, the DMUK stand will be encouraging show attendees to support the interests of Blue Badge holders and providing information on how this vital charity campaigns for disabled drivers and passengers – actively working with parking authorities to reduce Blue Badge parking abuse. Exhibitors in the Silverstone Wing such as Loopwheels, Chunc, Mountain Trike, All Terrain Wheelchairs and Mybility will showcase revolutionary all terrain, paediatric and bespoke wheelchair designs.
