2009 F1 SANTANDER BRITISH GRAND PRIX

SPECTATOR INFORMATION

This page contains useful information for all Grand Prix spectators. covering ticket types, hospitality packages, disabled access, accommodation, general important information and food.

TICKET TYPES

Grandstands:
Grandstand tickets offer you either a covered or uncovered seat in the block you have chosen. On the ticket booking page click on the Info button to see and read about the view from each grandstand.

From Luffield where spectators will see the cars barrelling down from Bridge, navigating the gruelling left-handers, balancing throttle and clutch in the ultimate display of driving finesse to Stowe were the cars come straight for you at speeds approaching 200mph, a huge variety of tickets and seats are available. These are just two of the options available to those opting for grandstand seating.

Catering for every taste and budget, from Bronze, Silver and Gold tickets right through to Platinum and the exclusive Club Silverstone, all grandstands offer unbelievable views of the circuit and provide the ideal vantage point to enjoy both the action and atmosphere of the British Grand Prix.

General admission:
General admission 'Fan' tickets have always been popular with Silverstone's visitors. You have access to the whole of the outside of the circuit and are free to find your own vantage point (under the guidance of the spectator marshals of course!) With roving grandstand access on Friday it's no wonder these are likely to sell out fast.

Fan tickets include a roving seat * on Friday and general admission for the other two days but do not include access to Luffield Terrace or Copse Terrace.

* Subject to availability.

Club Silverstone:
Bridging the gap between corporate hospitality and regular grandstand seating, Club Silverstone provides an informal environment in a prime location with great facilities and live entertainment. Located on the outside of the demanding Becketts complex, this is the part of the circuit where the world's finest drivers put it all on the line. With close proximity parking, grandstand seats and exclusive access to a private marquee where you can meet, mingle and purchase a wide range of food and beverages, Club Silverstone is the perfect way for you and your guests to enjoy this spectacular event.

Family Tickets:
Silverstone's family tickets for Friday (from £109) and Saturday (from £159) are for two adults and two children*, providing roving grandstand seats on both days. Additional child tickets can be bought for £10 (Friday) and £20 (Saturday) with a maximum of two per family ticket.
*Children aged 15 and under

Child tickets:

If you have purchased a child ticket this will be granted the same status as the accompanying adult ticket, i.e. with an adult general admission the child will be classified as general admission; with an adult's grandstand ticket the child will be classified as a grandstand ticket holder. Standard three-day child tickets are also available from as little as £54.50.

Silverstone weather is often changeable so please ensure that you kit your kids out with sun screen and a rain jacket. Whilst the noise of F1 is undoubtedly part of the attraction, please remember that children's ears are easily damaged and adequate protectors should be considered.

HOSPITALITY PACKAGES

Our range of F1™ hospitality packages suit every budget and feature gourmet cuisine, fine champagnes and, of course, amazing views. From rubbing shoulders with motor sport legends in Copse Drivers' lounge to entertaining your guests in a more personal setting in one of our Private Boxes, everyone's assured of an experience they'll never forget.

DISABLED ACCESS

Silverstone have raised viewing platforms with access for people in wheelchairs available in various places on the circuit to enable them to enjoy the race in the best possible conditions.

In 2007, Silverstone developed the Woodcote B grandstand, adding 31 undercover wheelchair spaces and allocating two seats per fan for friends and family. Woodcote B has been specifically chosen for these developments due to its close proximity to amenities including the trade mall, catering outlets and car parking, along with its excellent view of the giant screens.

Event Mobility specialise in providing a facility to assist the Disabled, Elderly and Mobility Impaired. If you would like to book a scooter or a wheelchair for use at the British Grand Prix or to find out more, visit www.eventmobility.org.uk.

For any other details regarding disabled access please call 08704 588 232. Please click here for full details of disabled access to Silverstone.
