Refund Confirmation for the cancellation of the 2018 GoPro British Grand Prix MotoGP™

We are pleased to confirm that discussions regarding refunds for the cancellation of the GoPro British Grand Prix MotoGP™ are progressing. Please read on to find out more.

Refund Information

  • I Purchased a ticket / upgrade / circuit parking On The Day

    We’re pleased to confirm that you are being refunded the full face value at the time of purchase for the Sunday entry ticket(s) and Sunday Circuit Parking, if purchased.

    To enable your refund to be processed, please complete the online form here before Monday 26 November.

    Your refund for your Sunday entry ticket(s) will then be credited directly to the bank account details provided on the form within the next few days. You will receive an email confirmation when the refund has been processed.

  • I purchased my tickets using the 0% Zebra Finance option

    We’re pleased to confirm that we are refunding back to you the face value price of your Sunday ticket, your handling fee and your Sunday Circuit Parking Ticket (if purchased).

    As you purchased your event on finance, your refund is being processed back through Zebra Finance on our behalf and will be sent back to the bank account that your direct debit was linked to. This refund will appear in your account within the next few weeks.

    If you have any questions on the refund amount or how your refund has been calculated, please contact Silverstone at motogp@silverstone.co.uk in the first instance so your query can be dealt with in the quickest way possible.

    Any additional items which were paid in full at the time of booking, for example camping or a car pass, will be refunded back by Silverstone to the credit or debit card used at the point of purchase within the next few weeks. You will receive an email confirmation when the refund has been processed.

  • I purchased a Hospitality Package

    We’re pleased to inform you that we will be making an additional contribution to your overall refund amount for the 2018 GoPro British Grand Prix MotoGP™. This has been emailed to all 2018 bookers. 

    We’re pleased to confirm that the insurers have come to a decision regarding the refund for the Sunday of your Weekend Hospitality entry ticket(s) and Sunday Circuit Parking.

    You will be refunded the full face value of the Sunday entry ticket(s) and Sunday Circuit Parking at the final advanced selling price. Car parking is allocated and will be refunded based on 1 pass per 2 hospitality places booked.

    • Corporate customers with a Silverstone account who were invoiced and paid by bank transfer – will be receiving a credit note back to their account
    • Website bookings – will be receiving an automatic refund to the credit or debit card used at the point of purchase
    • Individuals who purchased through our hospitality sales team – please complete the online form for us to be able to process the refund into your account

    You will receive an email confirmation when the refund/credit note has been has been processed.

  • I didn't purchase my tickets through Silverstone directly, I purchased my tickets through a Third Party Agent

    We recommend you contact the ticket agent you used to purchase your tickets as they are the team handling your booking. Please contact your point of purchase with your order number and they’ll be able to take it from there.

    Examples of third party agents are: bookmoto.com, motogp.com
