Bennetts British Superbike Championship 2020 FAQ’s

PLEASE NOTE: Ticket holders have been sent an email detailing full details on how you may request a refund or transfer.  We ask for your patience as we put this process in place.

Can I get a refund on my order?
We have sent emails to all ticket holders which will give you the details you need on how to request a refund, please complete the survey information as soon as possible.

What is the deadline to apply for a refund?
All requests for a refund must be submitted by 30 September 2020.

What is the value of my refund?
You can rest assured that you will receive a full refund to mirror the value paid to SCL at the time of booking and as verified on your email confirmation.

How long will it take to get my refund?
We aim to complete all straightforward refunds within three months of request. As we are currently processing large numbers of transactions. If there is an issue with your card, we will contact you and ask for bank transfer details as an alternative method. Please bear with us during this time.

Can I transfer my 2020 ticket(s) to 2021?
Of course, we can’t wait to welcome you to Silverstone in 2021. We have sent emails to all ticket holders which will give you all the details you need on how to request your transfer, please complete the survey information as soon as possible.

I purchased MotoGP during the 2019 Black Friday promotion – what happens to my BSB ticket?
If you transfer your MotoGP ticket onto 2021, you will automatically transfer your BSB ticket to the 2021 race.
If you refunded your MotoGP ticket, unfortunately you cannot carry across the BSB ticket to the 2021 race.

Is there a confirmed 2021 race date?
Our team is still working alongside BSB race organisers to finalise the 2021 date. Rest assured we’ll update you as soon as this is finalised. If you choose to transfer your tickets, but when the 2021 race dates are announced you are unable to make date you will be able to request a refund on your tickets. This will be available for one month following the announcement of the 2021 race dates on our website.

My card has expired / is no longer held since making my booking, what should I do?
Don’t worry, if you have selected to refund your ticket(s) our system will flag if the card has expired/cancelled and our team will be in touch over the next few weeks to help with the refund transaction. 

I paid by bank transfer or cash, how can I arrange a refund?
If you paid by bank transfer or cash please contact a member of the team on 2020eventsc19@silverstone.co.uk and we’ll be back in touch to arrange this for you.

I wish to amend/add to my order – is this possible?
Of course our team are happy to help. We ask that you contact us later this autumn when we hope to launch general sales for 2021. We can then check whether items are available following all refunds and transfers and process updates to your bookings.

Can I transfer to 2022?
Unfortunately we are unable to offer transfers to 2022 and beyond.

I have received my ticket(s) for 2020, do I need to return them?
If you have received your ticket(s) for 2020 you do not need to worry about returning them, if you choose to transfer you will be issued with a new ticket for 2021.

I didn’t buy directly from Silverstone, can I get a refund?
You should still be entitled to refund, you will need to contact the supplier of your ticket.

I bought child ticket(s) and my child will be an adult in 2021 – if I transfer to next year, what should I do?
We look forward to welcoming you in 2021. Please follow the links in your email to request to transfer your current booking. We will transfer your child ticket(s) to ensure these are valid for 2021.

I have been given a discount code, where can I use this?
Unfortunately this discount code expired on 31 July 2020.

When are 2021 tickets going on sale?
We hope to release tickets for the Bennetts British Superbike Championship 2021 later this year. Stay tuned to the Silverstone website and check you’re signed up to our newsletters to receive all the latest announcements.

  • COVID-19

    The Coronavirus pandemic is evolving daily. The Government has also advised everyone to avoid gatherings and crowded places. Further official advice around avoiding unnecessary social contact is now particularly important for the over-70s, people with underlying health conditions and pregnant women.

  • Is my Silverstone Tour still going ahead?

    Following the Government’s Coronavirus latest advice Silverstone has taken the decision to postpone Silverstone Tours in 2020 As you’ll appreciate, with the fluidity of the Coronavirus pandemic, we’re not able to let you know future dates at the moment. Please don’t worry, we’re working around the clock and will give you plenty of time to reschedule your Tour Experience. We will be in touch directly as soon as we can.

  • I have a car / bike track day booked, is it still on?

    If we have to postpone any of our track days we’ll email you, and as soon as they are rescheduled will be back in touch.

  • Is The Silverstone Experience open?

    The Silverstone Experience museum is open and taking bookings.

    Please refer to the museum website for tickets and to read about the safety measures in place for your visit.

  • What happens if any events I have booked are cancelled by Silverstone?

    We are continuing to review plans for future events in the calendar. We hope to go ahead as planned, but with this ever changing situation we’re monitoring and adapting daily. Where possible events will be postponed and rescheduled to a later date if they are unable to go ahead on the published date. Please make sure you check back on our website for all the latest updates.

  • Is it safe to visit Silverstone?

    The health and safety of visitors and team at Silverstone is our number one priority. Silverstone is adhering to the advice of Government, World Health Organisation and Public Health England with a daily review. We have implemented precautionary measures in line with this advice and will adapt these if advice changes.
