Tickets

We’re sorry, Silverstone is unable to offer refunds or exchanges for tickets unless the event is cancelled due to any circumstance for which Silverstone Circuits LTD is covered by its relevant insurance cover.

We will email you a link to your E-Tickets. Using the link contained inside the email, you will simply login into your account and download your tickets.

  • We have a free entry policy for children that are 10 and under. 
  • Children who are 15 years and under on the day of the event will be classed as a child and will need a ticket for entry into the venue.
  • Please select the number of child tickets you require at the time of purchasing. One adult can accompany a maximum of four children.

Your e-tickets will be available to download in the tickets section of your account at least 7 days before the event. 

There may be some tickets available to purchase online during the event weekend. Though we recommend purchasing early, as seats fill up and grandstands often sell out. 

Yes, all children need a ticket for General Admission and Grandstand access. Please select the number of child tickets you require when you buy your ticket online.
Please note

  • One adult can accompany up to a maximum of four children.
  • Children 15 and under will require a Child grandstand ticket. 
  • Children aged 10 and under go for free in General Admission areas. However, they still need a ticket which you can book online at the same time as your adult ticket.
  • Children under 2 are free in both Grandstands and General Admission areas, and will also need a ticket. Please email [email protected] to arrange this. 

We urge our fans to only purchase tickets directly from Silverstone or our official hospitality partner, travel agencies and European agency partners. 

We do not sell through ticket sites, we only sell via our own website, except for our hospitality offers, which are available via our website and our hospitality partner, Match Hospitality.   

Some unauthorised resellers may advertise on a search engine so that they are seen on the internet before us. Please check that you’re on our website and don’t be tempted by third parties, they do not have official tickets for sale. Tickets purchased from other third-party websites or resellers will be invalid and you won’t be admitted into the event. 

Event Need to Know

Unfortunately, a specific Paddock pass is required to enter the Paddock and are not available for purchase at this event. 

The circuit gates will open from 08:00 on Friday and Saturday morning and at 07:00 on Sunday. These times are provisional and subject to change.

Yes, you can follow the race commentary on Radio Silverstone at 87.7FM. Our merchandise shops stock small, portable radios for you to tune into all of the on track action. 

Yes, to ensure safety at the circuit for all our visitors throughout the event, the following items are prohibited at the venue:

  • Bags over 20 litre capacity

  • Glass bottles and glass containers

  • BBQs

  • Restricted and illegal substances

  • Offensive weapons

  • Items that are deemed dangerous, offensive or unsuitable

  • Drones or remote-controlled aircraft

  • Step ladders or any similar item which may obstruct another attendees' view

  • Lasers

  • Fireworks / pyrotechnics

  • Any items which might be subject to ambush marketing

  • Smoke canisters  

  • Tents and shelters  

  • Four-wheeled carry carts (doesn’t include those used to carry children, but must be empty at the gate

  • Powered scooters (excluding disability scooters) / hover boards  

  • Electric cycles  

  • Sun parasols

  • Excessive alcohol, although you will be permitted to bring a reasonable amount into the Venue for personal consumption

  • No animals

Getting Around the Event
  • General Admission tickets allow viewing from any of our general admission areas around the circuit throughout the day.  A three day General admission ticket allows roving grandstand seating on Friday and Saturday.
  • Three-day Grandstand tickets allow roving grandstands seats on the Friday and Saturday in most grandstands and you will receive an allocated seat on the Sunday.
  • The Sunday only Grandstand ticket gives you a designated seat on the Sunday.

Yes, you can bring your bike into the circuit, though not into the grandstands. For safety reasons, do not lock bikes to the grandstands as they will be removed. Please be aware that all roadways are in use during the event so be alert at all times. Bicycles should not be riden through the paddocks. Bikes left anywhere in the venue are solely at the owners' risk.

Yes, ask the staff at the gate will scan your ticket out and then back in when you want to re-entre the venue. Re-entry to the site will only be permitted if the person is in possession of a valid ticket for the event. Please review the timetable to check the last re-entry times each day.

Silverstone has wheelchair accessible viewing areas open for the event. Our terraces at Luffield, Luffield Complex and Copse have allocated wheelchair bays with space for carers with fold up deckchairs.

Camping & Accommodation

Sadly not! Silverstone Golf Club operate a strict no pet policy with the exception of guide dogs.

Campers may use only gas barbeques on the Campsite. No charcoal or disposable barbeques will be permitted.

No, please do not move your vehicle off your pitch until you are ready to depart off our campsite.

The Silverstone Golf Club do not allow fire pits or open fires on site, due to it being grassland.

Yes, though you will not be permitted to bring your own alcohol into the Clubhouse, marquees, garden or seating areas.

Yes, these will be signposted.

Silverstone Golf Club have a great team of stewards and staff on-site who do their best to keep the site secure. With the large number of campers on site, Silverstone Golf Club recommends that you keep your valuables safe at all times – either lock them away in your car, or keep them with you.

It's really close! The circuit is just a 5-minute walk to the West 13 entrance from the campsite. We have bridge access across to track side.

Yes you can! Silverstone Golf Club is an official campsite partner with a high standard of facilities, live entertainment and services. They offer pitches for tents, motorhomes, campervans or caravans. Complete with breakfast and dinner options throughout the weekend the site is ideal for families or groups. 

Only campers booked to stay with us at Silverstone Golf Club, and hold a relevant camping ticket, will be able to stay on our site.

You will need the relevant Silverstone Golf Cub camping tickets to gain entry to the campsite. Upon check in, you will be issued with a wristband which must be worn at all times and shown to gate security. Lost wristbands will not be re-issued. Any persons on site found not wearing a Silverstone Golf Club wristband, will be asked to leave site immediately.

Unfortunately not. If you wish to be pitched together, you must all arrive together and have the same pitch type and size booked.

The Clubhouse is wheelchair accessible, with toilet facilities for wheelchair users. And, where possible, Silverstone Golf Club may be able to pitch you close to the amenities and the Clubhouse, although this is not always guaranteed.

We ask that once shown to your pitch, that there is no movement of vehicles unless in the event of an emergency.

Washrooms are located at the Driving Range building. There are also permanent toilets and shower facilities for men and women in the Clubhouse. Additional temporary toilets can be found throughout the campsite and the extra shower facilities are located adjacent to the Driving Range Building.

Various bars will be open over the weekend with TV’s showing the different sporting events.

It's really close! The circuit is just a 5-minute walk to the West 13 entrance from Silverstone Golf Club campsite.

The Silverstone Golf Club Campsite opens on the Wednesday 3 August 2022 at 12:00 and closes again on Monday 8 August 2022 at midday. There is no price difference with regards to how many nights you stay…. So why not make the most of it. At the time of booking, you would have selected your day of arrival, if you wish to change this date, please email here.

Saturday 8am – 4pm

We ask Campers not to use (or carry) flag poles where there are power lines above.

Of course, but this is to be consumed on your pitch only. You will not be allowed to consume your own alcohol in any inside Marquee or Clubhouse or in the seated areas.

Yes, you will need to buy an event ticket and add camping as an option within the booking process.

The lead guest must meet you at the check in point when you arrive. There will be no holding or waiting area should they not be on site to meet you. You will be asked to leave the site and return when the lead gust is there to meet you.

There is so much to choose from! Silverstone Golf Club have a permanent restaurant on site offering breakfast, lunches and evening meals. The Sunday Carvery is back by popular demand. Bookings for Breakfast and Carvery is advisable and can be booked online MEALS (silverstonecampsites.co.uk)

Lunches and evening meals (Wednesday- Saturday) can be ordered at the Clubhouse Bar.

There will be food vendors on offering a variety of choices. Tickets do not need to be purchased for this.

Yes, we will have a shop selling essentials. Please note no tobacco products will be sold.

Parking will be located in the vicinity of the Glamping Tents, not next to each tent.

We have three main areas,

  • Electrical Hook Up
  • Non Electrical Hook up
  • Pre Erected Glamping Tents

With the number of campers we have on site and due to the nature of the event, we do not currently offer a Family / Quiet & Lively.

You will receive an email when your camping tickets are available to download.

Your pitch ticket purchased with either include 1 or 2 cars. No additional cars can be bought onto site as there will be no additional parking on site. A reminder that your cars MUST fit onto your pitch size purchased.

Silverstone Golf Club is a lively but not wild campsite.

There will be a large entertainment area where you will find food vendors and a fully stocked bar. Here you will find an outside seating area for you to relax with a bite to eat and a beverage before or whilst enjoying the Live Entertainment performing on Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday evenings until midnight in the big marquee.

You will also have access to the superb Clubhouse and another marquee offering good value breakfasts, lunches and evening meals. Outside there are seated areas with wonderful views where you can relax and watch the sport on the big outdoor screen.

We ask you to always respect your fellow campers when returning to your pitch.

Yes, but we do ask that all campers fill up prior to arrival as these water points will not be accessible for vehicles and campers will need to bring the necessary water carrying equipment to fill up.

The Clubhouse is open for the duration of your stay so you will have full access to the permanent toilets, showers and changing room facilities within the Clubhouse. There are also temporary and permanent toilets on the campsite as well as temporary showers.

For your safety and security at the campsite the following are strictly prohibited:

  • Monkeybikes, Minimoto, Pit Bikes, Scooters, Segways & Quads 
  • Generators, BBQ Gas cylinders exceeding 15kg
  • Charcoal BBQ’s
  • Sound systems capable of creating excessive noise
  • Campfires, firewood & fire starters 
  • Fireworks
  • Restricted & illegal substances
  • Offensive weapons
  • Paddling pools, swimming pools & hot tubs
  • Pet animals with the exception of assistance dogs
  • Items that are deemed dangerous, offensive or unsuitable for the safe environment of the Campsite by Campsite Staff

Please note: random vehicle searches may be carried out on arrival at the entrance gates.

It will state “Electric” on your ticket.

One car is permitted with a camping ticket on the campsite, so you do not need a parking pass. 

Due to the nature of the event, it’s difficult to guarantee different areas like this, but we do ask that every camper is respectful of their fellow campers at all times.

No, we do not require this information.

Getting to the Circuit

Silverstone is well supported by many rail stations close by. The closest station is Wolverton – approximately 10 miles (16km) away from the circuit. Wolverton Station offers direct train services to London.

In the area and all under 13 miles (20km) away are Banbury, Milton Keynes and Northampton rail stations. Which have services from Euston and Birmingham New Street. 

Our Getting Here section can help you to plan your journey to the circuit. As the circuit and routes gets busy, please ensure that you leave plenty of time for your journey. 

You can park at Silverstone on Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the 2021 British Grand Prix MotoGP™ with our circuit-parking pass. Book early to avoid disappointment, as passes are subject to availability and must be purchased in advance!

You can also choose to Park and Ride at a number of locations.

Bike Parking
Riding by motorbike? No problem! Parking is free and no parking pass is needed. However, please select this option in the booking process to help us manage parking at the event. Upon arrival follow the signage to the designated, bike park. A helmet and kit park will be available at a small cost once you arrive at the event.

Train 
The nearest mainline train stations are Milton Keynes, Northampton and Banbury. Please check connecting bus services to Silverstone, or alternatively a taxi is approximately 30 minutes from all stations.

Parking

Not sure of your vehicle details yet? Don’t worry, the form to enter your vehicle registration will remain live throughout the event, so if you’re picking up a hire car you’ll be able to enter the details once you know them.

Advanced parking is no longer available online. During Friday-Sunday, follow signs to the Official Car Park, park up and pay on your phone, following the instructions on the payment signs on display. 

We do not allow overnight parking in our car parks. Our car parks will be closed overnight.

If you’ve purchased parking for the event but receive a parking fine please contact our team by email on [email protected]. Please include proof of your parking purchase (A Booking Reference or email should be fine) along with the details of the fine and we’ll investigate this for you.

Car parks open up to half an hour before circuit gate opening times. Please note that this is subject to change.

Submitted an incorrect number plate on your Parking Registration form? Don’t worry! We can fix that for you. Click here and complete our online form to re-enter your details. These details will then be processed by our team and updated in our system. You will not receive an updated vehicle pass, don’t worry, just use the one you currently have and we’ll update the registration in the ANPR system.

Our Facilities

Yes, Silverstone shops sell a variety of merchandise during the weekend and are clearly marked on the Entertainment Guide (pick up at the site when you arrive or available by download closer to the time of the event). Alternatively, you can buy merchandise in advance online to avoid disappointment. Shop now!

Yes, there are multiple cash machines located around the circuit and are clearly marked on our Entertainment Guide that you can collect upon arrival. Charges for cash withdrawals may apply.

Yes, we will have giant viewing screens placed around the circuit so you won't miss a moment of the action. Screen locations are to be confirmed. Pick up an entertainment guide when you arrive.

We accept most major credit and debit cards with the exception of American Express and Diners Club cards.

Yes, our merchandise shops sell a limited selection of sun creams. All other essential items can be purchased in the nearby Silverstone village before you arrive at the circuit.

Yes, we have plenty to choose from around the circuit – from burgers, fish & chips, jacket potatoes and pies to paninis, baguettes and vegetarian food and many more. There are also a number of licensed bars serving beer and other refreshments.

We also have the Pit Stop café serving hot food, sandwiches, drinks and snacks. 

Please note 

  • You are allowed to bring reasonable amounts of alcohol for personal consumption into the venue, though excessive amounts will be refused at the gate.
  • No glass bottles or containers are allowed to be bought into the circuit at any time. You will be asked to leave them at the gates.
Security at the Circuit

Yes, photographic equipment, mobile telephones and other private communication devices are permitted within the venue provided that they are for personal and private non commercial purposes.

Yes, as we have enhanced security measures in place, you may be searched upon entering the venue. You are limited to one rucksack per person with a maximum capacity of 20 litres.  

To help us ensure a smooth entry process, please

  •  Arrive early and leave plenty of time for searches
  • Do not leave your bag unattended at any time
  • Read our list of prohibited items

Yes, Silverstone Circuits Ltd has a zero tolerance policy to illegal substances. Drug enforcement laws are as applicable on site as anywhere else in the country – and the dealing in or use of illegal drugs is not condoned by Silverstone Circuits Ltd. Police officers and security guards will be on site throughout the event and will deal with drug offences in accordance with national guidelines. Neither anti-social nor illegal behaviour will be tolerated. 

Please note that you may be searched at the entrance. Any items which the organisers consider to be used in an illegal or offensive manner will be confiscated. Persons suspected of carrying out illegal and / or offensive activities onsite may be searched, you may be escorted off the site, and refused re-admission.

Only Registered Assistance Dogs with prior arrangement are admitted into the venue and car parks. To register please email  [email protected] in advance of the event.

COVID

The health and safety of fans, staff and teams visiting Silverstone remains our highest priority. We are following current government guidance and are working with the relevant authorities including Public Health England and the local agencies to ensure we put in place all the necessary policies and procedures to deliver COVID safe events.
