The health and safety of our team, customers and clients is our priority and we have put in place a robust re-opening policy to operate as safely as possible. Understandably, we all have heightened awareness for the environment around us and want to know that the venues we are visiting have put in place precautionary measures for COVID-19. This guide provides all you need to know about visiting Silverstone and giving you peace of mind that your health and safety is of paramount importance.

We are adopting new processes and procedures to adhere to Government guidelines, so the venue may look a little different than you expect, but we can assure you that everything we do is to maintain the safest environment possible for our visitors and the Silverstone team.

To help visitors manage social distancing of a minimum of 2 metres we have clearly marked this around the venue and within the circuit buildings.

Where possible all buildings will have a separate entry and exit, and a ‘one way system’ where appropriate to help to the reduce the crossover of people and maintain social distancing.

Floor markers, where appropriate, will show the social distancing that should be used in communal areas.

Health verification with thermal testing at the main gate will remotely check the temperature of all site visitors and Silverstone team members.

Clear signage around the venue will remind visitors to social distance and to encourage safe practice and good hygiene.

Where possible electronic communication will be used pre-arrival and while on site.

Hand sanitising stations have been installed throughout the venue. This includes each garage in the National and Wing pits, entry and exit points within the buildings and other key touch points. These stations and wash hand basins must be used on entry and exit of all buildings and regularly while in and around the venue.

An enhanced cleaning and hygiene schedule throughout the venue includes electrostatic spraying sanitation, air steriliser system within buildings and screen protection at key locations.

Fresh air ventilation within all buildings has been increased.
