The health and safety of our team, customers and clients is our priority and we have put in place a robust re-opening policy to operate as safely as possible. Understandably, we all have heightened awareness for the environment around us and want to know that the venues we are visiting have put in place precautionary measures for COVID-19. This guide provides all you need to know about visiting Silverstone and giving you peace of mind that your health and safety is of paramount importance.
We are adopting new processes and procedures to adhere to Government guidelines, so the venue may look a little different than you expect, but we can assure you that everything we do is to maintain the safest environment possible for our visitors and the Silverstone team.
CARING FOR PEOPLE
To help visitors manage social distancing of a minimum of 2 metres we have clearly marked this around the venue and within the circuit buildings.
Where possible all buildings will have a separate entry and exit, and a ‘one way system’ where appropriate to help to the reduce the crossover of people and maintain social distancing.
Floor markers, where appropriate, will show the social distancing that should be used in communal areas.
Health verification with thermal testing at the main gate will remotely check the temperature of all site visitors and Silverstone team members.
Clear signage around the venue will remind visitors to social distance and to encourage safe practice and good hygiene.
Where possible electronic communication will be used pre-arrival and while on site.
CLEANING AND HYGIENE
Hand sanitising stations have been installed throughout the venue. This includes each garage in the National and Wing pits, entry and exit points within the buildings and other key touch points. These stations and wash hand basins must be used on entry and exit of all buildings and regularly while in and around the venue.
An enhanced cleaning and hygiene schedule throughout the venue includes electrostatic spraying sanitation, air steriliser system within buildings and screen protection at key locations.
Fresh air ventilation within all buildings has been increased.
Our team have undertaken training in understanding and implementing the necessary precautions, social distancing, health and hygiene measures relevant to Coronavirus.
Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment will be provided for our staff and used in all relevant settings.

ADVICE FOR VISITORS
We recommend all visitors download the NHS test and trace app (when available) to ensure we are all alerted to any visitors who may pose a risk of spreading Covid-19.
Social distancing rules must be followed at all times, you must maintain a distance of 2 metres from people around you, wherever possible.
If you experience any of the following symptoms while on site you must return home immediately and self-isolate in line with Government guidelines: A cough, a high temperature, shortness of breath, a loss of sense of taste or smell.
You must not attend the venue if you have at any time during the past three weeks knowingly been in contact with anyone who currently has or has had at any time during the past three weeks any symptoms relating to Coronavirus, except as a healthcare professional.
We ask that any visitor who develops symptoms after attending the venue contact us immediately to ensure that we can implement relevant procedures.
Please be considerate to other visitors, giving them time and space to enter and exit buildings where required.
