General Admission already 80% sold
Formula 1 fans have responded well to Silverstone’s 2016 pricing policy for the British Grand Prix and tickets for this year’s event, which takes place from 8 – 10 July, are selling fast with 80% of the general admission allocation already sold. The new policy rewards early bookers as the lower prices will increase as the event approaches.
General admission tickets for the 2016 Formula 1 British Grand Prix are currently on sale at a lower price than in 2015. Prices at £135 for Sunday and £155 for the weekend, with children aged 11 and under free, make the event great value for money.
Patrick Allen, Managing Director of Silverstone, is encouraging fans to book soon to take advantage of this early offer “The initial response to the 2016 British Grand Prix pricing strategy has been extremely positive and prices for general admission and some of our grandstands are still lower than in 2015. However, we cannot hold these prices for much longer and are reviewing allocations on a daily basis. If fans are planning to attend the 2016 event then I urge them to book as soon as possible to secure the best prices.”
