Bar facilities serving quality beverages at reasonable prices will be provided on the campsite during certain events.

The entrance is located 50 metres from Club Corner, Vale and Stowe off the Dadford road.
Do I need a separate ticket for camping and an event ticket?
Yes you will need to purchase both tickets. You will be presented with an option to add camping to the event.
*Please note: only selective events at Silverstone offer camping.
Is there a reduced price for children?
Yes, for this camping weekend the charge is £10 for children under 15. Please note, all children must be accompanied by an adult whilst staying at the campsite.
Any children under the age of 18 will receive a specific wristband for their stay with us. ID may be required for check in
I have already purchased an event ticket, how do I add camping onto my booking?
Please call the contact centre on 0344 3750 740. The customer service team will be able to add camping onto your booking.
How far is it to the circuit from the campsite?
West 13 Entrance just a 5-minute walk from the entrance.
Which side of the Circuit are you closest to?
Silverstone Golf Club are located closest to Club, Vale and Stowe and International areas of the Circuit.
What do I need to bring with me when I check in?
Upon booking, you will have received a booking confirmation. You will need to bring this with you, either on a smart phone, tablet, or a printed copy.
What toilet and shower facilities do you have onsite?
Being a Golf Club, we open the Clubhouse for the duration of your stay so you would have full access to the permanent toilets, showers and change room facilities within the Clubhouse.
Is there accessible camping?
Where possible, we may be able to pitch you close to the amenities and the Clubhouse, although this is not always guaranteed. Our Clubhouse is wheelchair accessible, and we have toilet facilities for wheelchair users.
What food facilities do you have on site?
We have a permanent restaurant onsite offering breakfasts, lunches and evening meals.
What bar facilities do you have on site?
Our Clubhouse bar will be open that weekend with TV’s showing the different sporting events.
Are there phone charging facilities on-site?
We will have various charging points available on site. We do ask that your phones are not left unattended while charging and if they are it is at your own risk.
Do you have permanent toilets?
We have permanent toilets located on the campsite and inside the Clubhouse.
Do you have water and chemical disposal points on-site?
We have a chemical disposal and water points on-site. This will be on the site map which you will receive closer to the event.
Do you work on a shower token system?
No, you have use of permanent showers located inside the Clubhouse. You do not need tokens to operate these.
Do you have Family/Quiet and Lively areas?
No. We have three main areas. Electrical Hook Up and Non Electrical Hook up. With the number of campers we have on site and the nature of the event, we do not believe we could separate the areas into Family, Quiet and Lively.
What day can I arrive?
The Campsite opens on the Thursday 3 September and closes on Monday 7 September at midday. There is no price difference with regards to how many nights you stay.
Can I leave the campsite when I want?
We ask, for safety reasons to all on site, that there is no movement of vehicles once you have been shown to your pitch.
If you need to move your vehicle in an emergency you must contact the nearest steward, who will arrange for you to be escorted out of the camping area.
How big is my pitch?
Check above for all pitch size options.
All the pitches will be marked out prior to your arrival. The pitches are not pre-allocated.
Please note: when looking at the relevant pitch size you require, bear in mind with a caravan that you need to take into account the tow bar, which cannot overhang your pitch. With some motorhomes, they have racking on the back, which again, cannot overhang the pitch.
If you are planning to bring an extra car, ensure that you have chosen the correct pitch size.
What is classed as a Live in Vehicle?
A caravan, motorhome, VW camper van, converted van that you will be sleeping in, are all classed as a Live in Vehicle. A trailer tent will be classed as a tent pitch.
I'm bringing my van, is it classed as a live-in vehicle?
If you are bringing a van which you plan to sleep in, then yes, it is a live-in vehicle. However, if it is just to bring camping equipment and you’ll be staying in a tent, then you can stay in general tent camping.
Can I book a pitch with Electric Hook Up?
We do not have electrical hook ups available for the BSB, BTCC and WEC events.
Am I allowed to bring a generator with me?
No, we operate a no generators policy at Silverstone Golf Club and staff will be patrolling site to enforce this rule.
I have a generator built into my live-in vehicle; can I use it?
If you have a Live in Vehicle with a built-in generator, it will be permitted, however no additional fuel storage cannisters will be allowed on site.
Is your campsite secure?
Silverstone Golf Club have a great team of Stewards and staff on site who do their best to keep the site secure. With the large number of campers they have on site, SGC always recommend that you keep your valuable safe at all times – either lock them away in your car, or keep them with you.
Can I buy a camping ticket without a race ticket?
Yes, you do not have to have a race ticket in order to camp with us.
Can I bring my motorbike on-site?
Your car / bike will need to be parked on your pitch. In the event of bad weather, or for different reasons, you may have to park your vehicle away from your pitch. If this is the case, we will try and make the distance between your vehicle and your pitch as close as possible (within reason)

Do I need an extra car pass to park my car on-site?
If you have a tent pitch, it includes parking for 1 vehicle. If you have a live in vehicle pitch booked and you are bringing a second vehicle, then yes, you will need to purchase an additional car park pass. Any additional vehicles will need to be parked on your pitch so please ensure that you book a suitable pitch size. We do not allow you to sleep in these vehicles.
Can I bring my pet onto the campsite?
No. SGC operate a strict no pet policy with the exception of guide dogs.
Can I bring my own alcohol on-site?
Yes, but you will not be allowed to bring your own alcohol into the Clubhouse, Marquees, garden or seating areas.
Can I bring glass bottles?
Yes, you can, but to avoid risk of broken glass and injuries caused by this, we ask that you do not walk around with these bottles and keep them confined to your pitch.
Can we bring a BBQ?
We only allow gas barbeques on site. No charcoal or disposable barbeques are allowed.
Can we bring a Firepit?
No, we do not allow firepits or open fires.
Can I camp next to our friends who are coming separately?
Upon check in you will be allocated the next available pitch. If you wish to camp alongside your friends, they have to have the same pitch type as yourselves (i.e. same pitch size). Please note that we will try our best to accommodate this request, but it cannot be guaranteed.
We have friends staying on another campsite – can they join us at Silverstone Golf Club?
There will be a cover charge if they wish to join you on our site. This price will be confirmed closer to the event. These guests will not be permitted to stay overnight.
I want to be pitched closest to the gate – is this possible?
Our pitches are not pre allocated and you will be allocated the next pitch available.
- Monkeybikes, Minimoto, Pit Bikes, Scooters, Segways and Quads are strictly prohibited
- Barbeque Gas cylinders exceeding 15kg.
- Sound systems capable of creating excessive noise.
- Campfires, firewood and fire starters are strictly forbidden.
- Restricted & illegal substances.
- Offensive weapons.
- Paddling pools, swimming pools and hot tubs
- Pet animals.
- Items that are deemed dangerous, offensive or unsuitable for the safe environment of the Campsite by Campsite Staff.
- Please note random vehicle searches may be carried out on arrival at our entrance gates.
