The packed weekend of the Silverstone Classic (28-30 July) provides spectacular historic motor racing on the world famous circuit, free access to the paddocks and grandstands, displays from over 100 car clubs featuring more than 10,000 classic cars over the weekend, plus interactive driving activities and dynamic demonstrations.

There’s plenty of entertainment to enjoy too, with live music from headline acts, air displays, a vintage fun fair, and a shopping village… all included in the ticket price. It’s an event for the whole family.

Early Bird prices for the Silverstone Classic are available until 31 March 2017 and are detailed as follows:

What’s Included

Tickets to the world’s biggest classic motor racing festival represent excellent value. Each and every ticket to the event includes:

  • A packed schedule of the best historic racing on the famous GP circuit.
  • Full access to the paddocks providing the chance to get close to the cars and talk to the drivers.
  • Access to the grandstands for great viewing as well as big screens around the Circuit.
  • Live music concerts on Friday and Saturday nights.
  • A vintage funfair… and so much more!

There’s so much going on with qualifying races on Friday followed by racing for the silverware on Saturday and Sunday and so much off-track activity to enjoy too. One day isn’t enough.

Car Club Display Packages

Each year, over one hundred car clubs attend the Silverstone Classic bringing around ten thousand privately-owned classic cars to be proudly displayed on the infield; clubs are an important part of the event’s culture.

Car club members can take advantage of the event’s special car club display packages – these include two adult general admission tickets to the Silverstone Classic and an infield vehicle display pass, enabling car club members to display their car and mix with like-minded enthusiasts at the heart of the event, while taking advantage of all that the event has to offer.

Contact your club coordinator to check whether your club is registered and to obtain your club’s unique booking code which you’ll need when booking your car club display package on the Silverstone Classic website. If your club isn’t registered, all you need to do is ask your coordinator to contact the event organisers on 01483 524424 to discuss registration.

Race Details

What racing can I expect to see?

The world’s biggest classic motor racing festival features the cream of historic racing action from Formula One, Sports Cars, GT and Touring Car grids. With over 20 races and demonstrations, and over 1,000 race entries, this is more racing action than you will see anywhere else in the world in one weekend!

Each year, Friday sees a full day of qualifying from every grid, whilst Saturday and Sunday host a packed schedule of races each day. More details on the racing grids are available here.


The Silverstone Classic offers a great way of entertaining and building relationships with clients, rewarding staff, or even just enjoying an exclusive experience with friends and family. There are a range of packages available over the three-day festival weekend, including:

Parc Fermé – guests are treated to a prime viewing spot by the start/finish line and pit lane in Silverstone Wing while enjoying breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea together with unlimited wines, beers and soft drinks.

Clubhouse – situated very close to the National pits & paddock with excellent views of the circuit’s Luffield Complex and excellent trackside hospitality, Clubhouse has been designed specifically as an upgrade to general tickets giving access to ‘Club Lounge’ style facilities.

Podium – For groups of twenty or more who want to create a bespoke hospitality package at the Classic.

The Silverstone Classic always provides hours of entertainment in support of your favourite track action.

Highlights from previous years include activities in the JET Village Green such as traditional funfair rides, giant viewing wheel and crazy golf; as well as live music from headline acts including Reef, The Boomtown Rats, The Stranglers, Bonnie Tyler, Canned Heat, The Hollies, Mike & The Mechanics, Adam Ant, 10CC and the legendary Status Quo.

Getting Here

  • Getting to Silverstone

    The Silverstone Classic takes place at our iconic Grand Prix track which is centrally located in the picturesque Northamptonshire countryside next to Silverstone village.

    • From the M1, leave at junction 15A and take the A43 south, following the signposts to Silverstone.
    • From M40 leave at junction 10 and take the A43 north, following signposts to Silverstone.

    On leaving the A43 signposted to Silverstone, follow event signage for public parking or other access

    Public parking is FREE for this event.
