2019’s Blancpain GT Series is shaping up to be another exciting season in the closest GT3 championship of the motorsports planet. Last year saw a notable increase of the cars on the grid, and that growth continues this season: the world’s biggest GT series got even bigger!
The Blancpain GT Series consists out of five Sprint events and five Endurance events, the Silverstone round being one of the latter. No less than 12 manufacturers are represented on this year’s starting grid. Add to that an ever increasing number of top notch drivers – from former Grand Prix and Le Mans-winners to the best GT drivers in the world – and it is clear that the upcoming season will be one you cannot afford to miss. Many top British teams and drivers compete in the series and will be keen to shine on home turf.
The Silverstone event is a three- hour race, with two mandatory pit stops.

Competitors can race in one of three categories: Overall, Pro-Am and Am Classes.
A Blancpain GT Series Sprint Cup event consists of two races of one hour per event, while the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup races range from three- hour events through a 1000 km race to the season highlight of the Total 24 hours of Spa, the world’s leading 24 – hour race reserved for GT3 cars.
The Silverstone round of the Blancpain GT Series is a three-hour Endurance Cup race and will mark the third event of 2019. Now entering its ninth year, it has been an ever-present fixture on the calendar since the championship was formed.
Internal camping pitches will be available at this event from 16.00 Friday 10 May until 19.00 on Sunday 12 May. Camping pitches are 7m x 9m.

Bikes can sometimes be used at the circuit, although they are not advised at this event as the circuit is too busy.
Yes, this is possible; please ensure the staff at the gate stamp your hand as you leave the circuit. Re-entry to the site will only be permitted if the person has their hand stamped and is in possession of a valid ticket for the event. Please review the timetable to check last re-entry times each day.
Photographic equipment, mobile telephones and other communications devices are permitted within the venue provided that they are used for personal and private non-commercial purposes.

Ticket collection to be confirmed
If you have booked after the advance despatch deadline tickets will be available for collection at Ticket collection. ID is required (For example driving licence), email conformation as well/booking reference. If it is not the purchaser collecting the tickets the purchaser would need to have written a letter giving the non-purchaser permission to collect the tickets to pass to us for proof. Please park your car in the public car park and then make your way to Ticket Collection. Please check ticket collection opening times.
Children aged 15 years and under will need a ticket for Entry to the venue. Please ensure you select the number of child tickets you require at the time of purchasing. One adult can accompany up to maximum four children.

Parking on site
Parking on site is free ( with the exception of British Grand Prix and MotoGP), please follow signs for public parking and take directions for our car parking stewards.
The nearest mainline train stations are Milton Keynes and Northampton. Please check connecting bus services in order to ensure you can connect to Silverstone at a convenient time. Alternatively taxi journey is a short ride to Silverstone from these stations. Approx 30mins.
Car parks open up to half an hour before Circuit Gate Opening Times. Please note that this is subject to change.

We have a wide range of vendors around the circuit for all tastes. We have traditional hot snacks such as burgers, fish & chips, jacket potatoes and pies to paninis, baguettes and vegetarian food – but we’re sure you’ll find numerous other options that are very tempting indeed. There are also a number of licensed bars serving beer and other refreshments. Please kindly note that no glass bottles are allowed to be brought into the circuit at any time. You will be asked to leave any glass bottles at the gates if you do bring them.

Silverstone Circuits Ltd and the police have a zero tolerance policy to illegal substances. The dealing in or use of illegal drugs is not condoned by Silverstone Circuits Ltd. Drug enforcement laws are as applicable on site as anywhere else in the country. Police officers and security guards will be on site and will deal with drug offences in accordance with national guidelines. Neither anti-social nor illegal behaviour will be tolerated. You may be searched at the entrance. Any items which the organisers consider may be used in an illegal or offensive manner will be confiscated. Persons suspected of carrying out illegal and / or offensive activities onsite may be searched. If you do get caught you will be escorted off the site, and refused re-admission.
