Whether you're chasing a personal best or just soaking up the atmosphere, this year’s run promises more than just endorphins - it’s all in support of a fantastic cause.
FRIDAY 22 AUGUST
WHAT'S THE FUN RUN?
It’s a charity fundraising event in support of Race Against Dementia, taking place on Friday 22 August around the UK’s most iconic motor racing circuit as part of Silverstone Festival after qualifying sessions have finished for the day (around 7.15pm). Lace up your trainers and get ready for starters’ orders after Friday’s qualifying sessions – put yourself on pole!
WHO CAN TAKE PART?
It’s open to anyone aged 10 and above but you do need to hold an event ticket, and there’s a charity donation of £10 due too. Runners aged 10-15 must be with a responsible adult at all times while taking part in the Fun Run.

HOW FAR IS IT?
It’s a little over 5K (5.14 to be precise!)
IS THERE A TIME LIMIT?
Yes – you must be able to complete the distance within 50 mins. It’s a run and not a walk.
Every penny donated accelerates pioneering research and supports teams racing to prevent, treat, and ultimately cure dementia.
