Welcome to Silverstone. We’re thrilled to have you join us for the 2027 Formula 1 British Grand Prix. As a PA or Carer, your role is incredibly important, and we want to ensure you have a smooth and enjoyable experience while supporting the person who selected you for this responsibility. 

While attending the event, for those that require full-time assistance, we offer one free ticket for a partner, friend, or personal assistant available via our Personal Assistant Scheme. 

Depending on the Formula 1 ticket you wish to purchase, there will be a different application process. See full details below.

Which ticket type do you require

GENERAL ADMISSION OR GRANDSTAND SEAT
  • First complete your purchase of the General Admission or Grandstand tickets, including any parking and extras from our choice of ticket types here 
  • On completion of purchase, email a completed Personal Assistance application form within 7 days of purchase to [email protected] and include your booking reference and any supporting documents 
  • Once your application has been approved, a member of the team will convert one ticket to a PA ticket and process a refund for this single ticket
  • This refund can take up to 14 days to show in your account 

Please note: 

  • If you require shade, we advise booking grandstand seats located approximately halfway up the grandstand. This may provide the best opportunity for shade while still allowing good visibility of the circuit.
  • If you have purchased parking and have included a copy front and back of your Blue Badge we will swap public parking to Blue Badge. On event, you will need to display both the Blue Badge and parking pass when you arrive at the circuit.
  • Blue Badge parking is subject to availability due to the limited space.

A WHEELCHAIR BAY WITHIN A VIEWING PLATFORM OR GRANDSTAND WITH VIEWING PLATFORM
STEP 1 

Choose a Viewing Platform. These platforms allow one wheelchair and one carer (bring your own seating), subject to availability:

  • Copse Terrace - companion sits next to wheelchair/scooter user
  • Luffield Complex - companion sits next to wheelchair/scooter (uncovered)
  • Luffield Terrace - companion sits next to wheelchair/scooter user

Or choose a Grandstand with a viewing platform:

  • Abbey - companion sits behind in a static seat behind wheelchair/scooter user (uncovered)
  • Landostand - companion sits next to wheelchair/scooter in static seating (uncovered)
  • National Pits Straight - companion sits in a static seat behind wheelchair/scooter user (uncovered)
  • Wellington Enclosure - companion behind in a static seat (uncovered)
  • Woodcote A - companion sits next to wheelchair/scooter user, own seating required
  • Woodcote B - companion sits in static seat behind wheelchair/scooter user (partial cover)
STEP 2 
  • Purchase the Grandstand ticket including any parking and extras from here
  • On completion of purchase, email a completed Personal Assistance application form within 7 days of purchase to [email protected] and include your booking reference and any supporting documents 
  • Once your application has been approved a member of the team will convert one ticket to a carer ticket and process a refund for this single ticket
  • This refund can take up to 14 days to show in your account 

Please note: If you have purchased parking and have included a copy front and back of your Blue Badge* we will swap public parking to Blue Badge. On event, you will need to display both the Blue Badge and parking pass when you arrive at the circuit.

ACCESS TO NEURODIVERGENT FAN AREAS

We also have dedicated areas available for neurodivergent fans. To access these areas: 

  • Purchase General Admission tickets. Including any parking and extras here 
  • On completion of purchase, email a completed Personal Assistance application form within 7 days of purchase to [email protected] and include your booking reference and any supporting documents 
  • Once your application has been approved, a member of the team will convert one ticket to a PA ticket and process a refund for this single ticket
  • This refund can take up to 14 days to show in your account 
  • Our team will be in touch to discuss access to the neurodivergent fan areas 

Please note: 

  • A maximum of four people per booking for these areas
  • Access to the neurodivergent fan areas is subject to availability and must be requested through the Personal Assistance application process

Your Role as a PA or Carer

While we hope you enjoy everything Silverstone has to offer, please remember that your primary role is to assist and accompany the individual who chose you as their PA or Carer. Be prepared to support them with any needs they may have throughout the event In the event of an emergency or evacuation, your assistance will be essential.

Take a few moments to familiarise yourself with the venue using the site map If you need help or have any concerns, our friendly Race Makers are here to assist - just look out for them around the circuit.

Terms and Conditions
  • Please make sure that you read the criteria on the Personal Assistance (PA) application before purchasing Formula 1 tickets.
  • You must apply for the PA scheme within 7 days from the point of ticket purchase. We're unable to consider any applications received after the 7 days.
  • The PA scheme covers the cost of the event ticket only, and does not cover the cost of any extras purchased, such as parking.
  • If you are not approved for the scheme, we will refund your Formula 1 tickets within 5 working days.
  • If we’re unable to offer a complimentary PA ticket and the event has sold out, we’ll make one ticket available for you to purchase. 

  • We deal with each application on an individual basis. All applications are at the discretion of Silverstone Circuits Ltd and we reserve the right to alter or withdraw arrangements at any time.
