Run Silverstone is a unique opportunity to run the iconic track. Its legendary status as one of the great F1 circuits is sure to rev up your running potential and nab you a PB!

A fantastic medal awaits you at the finish line, along with revitalising snacks and drinks to kickstart your recovery. Grab a finisher’s photo on our podium before you leave and watch out for your result within hours of the race.

Registration: The schedule will be confirmed on Friday 18 September so you are able to plan and arrange travel.

Race Numbers: Your pack will be sent in the mail, please arrive ready to run with your race number fastened to the front of your top using the safety pins provided, your number should be visible at all times.

Timing: Your race will be timed and the chip attached to the back of your number should not be removed.

Route: The route is contained within the Silverstone circuit so is traffic-free and suitable for runners of all abilities. Please be vigilant of other runners and any other users of the venue whilst you race.

Spectators: Sadly, in order to move everyone safely through the event, we are not able to offer space to Spectators this year.

We want you to feel safe and comfortable at Run Silverstone, and we are going to use every inch of the site to minimise contact and give you as much space as possible before, during and after your run.

Spectators are able to book and visit The Silverstone Experience museum and café located on site.

Licensing: This race will be licensed with UK Athletics and the results submitted to Run Britain/Power of 10 within a week of the race.

Toilets: Portable toilets will be available throughout in the race village.

Distance Markers: The route will be clearly indicated with arrows, tape and distance markers where necessary.

Water/Fuel Stations: To ensure the event is contact-free please be self-sufficient and bring what you will need to refuel and hydrate along the route.

Goody Bag: All runners will receive water and snacks on finishing the race via a one-way reward lane.

Changing/Showers: There will be no changing or shower facilities at this race.

Merchandise: Souvenir T-shirts and Hoodies are available for purchase.

Parking: There are designated race carparks at the venue – parking will be between a 10 to 25 minute walk from the race village. Further information will be communicated to all pre-registered participants in the week leading up to the race.

Sadly, in order to move everyone safely through the event, we are not able to offer space to spectators this year.

London Marathon Events held the Silverstone Half Marathon each year on the Silverstone Circuit between 2003 and 2017. In 2019, London based The Race Organiser brought this event back to Silverstone for a unique running festival held for the first time in November 2019.

Buggies/Pushchairs: This race is not suitable for runners with buggies/pushchairs.

Earphones/Headphones: Noise-cancelling earphones/headphones are prohibited and whilst we discourage the use of other earphones/headphones at this event, participants choosing to use them should ensure they are set to a minimum volume such that instructions from marshals or other race officials can be clearly understood. We reserve the right to disqualify participants who cannot hear instructions as a result of their use.

Event Time-Limit: There is a strict 4-hour time-limit for this race in order that we adhere to the restrictions imposed by the venue and it will be necessary for us to begin deconstruction of the course/registration/finish areas at this time to facilitate the removal of all equipment from the premises. If you are still out on the course at the time, the sweep vehicle may facilitate your return to the Race Village.
