MORE INFORMATION

The Circuit

Silverstone is spread over 600 acres of land, including fields and grassed areas. There are also hard-standing areas such as the concert area and tarmac areas with stone paths around grandstands and viewing platforms. The British weather can have a considerable impact on the Silverstone terrain and may affect your ease of movement. Please consider the weather when deciding what equipment to bring with you. Level surfaces and routes are available across our accessible viewing areas. However, please note that some areas feature loose stone. Additional surfaces include grass or loose chippings on banks, alongside sections of tarmac and concrete.

Please note that the circuit covers a large outdoor area, and the terrain in some parts may not be suitable for those with mobility issues. We strongly recommend that customers with mobility requirements contact us before purchasing General Admission tickets, so we can provide advice on the most suitable ticket options and facilities available.

Event Parking

Blue Badge parking on site will be limited. Blue badge parking will be prioritised for customers who require access to our wheelchair accessible bay. If you have specific needs that mean Park & Ride or standard Blue Badge spaces are not suitable, please contact us directly so we can review your requirements on a case-by-case basis. All parking is subject to availability.

HOW TO BOOK

  • You'll need to purchase Official Car Parking
  • Email us a copy of your blue badge to [email protected]
  • We’ll supply you with a disabled parking pass
  • Display it clearly with your blue badge on the day
Park and Ride

Our Park and Ride service is fully accessible, with our Accessible Team operating from Hinton and Sixfields.

The Accessible Team is available to assist with queueing and can arrange seating for visitors who may find it difficult to stand for extended periods.

All buses are wheelchair accessible. If you are travelling from Sixfields, you will also find a range of nearby food and drink options, as well as accessible facilities, before boarding.

Park and Ride buses will drop passengers close to Gates 19 and 20, providing easy access to the venue. Blue Badge parking is available at all Park and Ride sites and does not require pre-booking.

Accessible Toilets

All permanent toilet blocks are wheelchair user accessible; their locations are mapped on our event maps and fitted with radar locks to prevent access to anyone not registered with the national scheme. Buy your key from participating local authorities and the Disability Rights UK shop. We will also have temporary accessible toilets located on site.

We also have a permanent fully equipped changing facilities and a hoist located within the Silverstone Museum.

All bathroom and HDU locations will be detailed within the accessible guide.

Getting Around

Electric mobility scooters and manual wheelchairs can be pre-booked for this event: click here.
