The Adrian Flux Trophy for the MRL Historic Touring Car Challenge covers the period that touring cars raced in the British and European Car Championships, from the Group 1 and 1 ½ era  from the Gerry Marshall Trophy up to the Group A’s of the early ‘90s.

The series covers everything from Ford ‘Cologne’ Capris, RS 1800 Escorts and ‘Batmobile’ BMWs, through SD1 Rovers and Jaguar XJSs, to BMW M3s and Ford Sierra RS500s

WHAT TO EXPECT

The HTCC is for Group 5 cars up to 1969, Group 2 cars up to 1981 and Group A cars post 1981 up to December 1990 to cover all normally-aspirated cars and post-’85 turbo-charged cars up to 1600cc. Cars you can expect to see include: Alfa Romeo GTV6, BMW CSL, M3E30, 2002 Ti, Chevrolet Camaro, Ford Capri, Jaguar TWR XJS, Renault 5 GT Turbo, Rover Vitesse, and VW Golf GTi.
