We’re thrilled to announce our first headline music acts performing to the British Grand Prix crowd in July 2024.
Stormzy takes to the main stage on Friday evening
Our first act won’t need much introduction as he takes to the stage during the weekend-long festival. Generational icon Stormzy, who played just once in the UK this year, will be making his debut Silverstone appearance on the main stage Friday evening, completing a day of track action as we warm up ahead of the big race.
With multiple BRIT Awards, three number-1 albums and over a billion global streams, Stormzy is no stranger to a festival, having made history as the first British rapper to headline Glastonbury in 2019.
Pete Tong announced as Saturday's headlinerSaturday evening will see Pete Tong, Jules Buckley and The Essential Orchestra light up the mainstage to perform a setlist of ever-popular Ibiza classics that’ll have the crowd singing.
Rudimental close the weekend
Drum and bass band Rudimental will close the weekend with a stomping live set on Sunday. Famous for their number-1 hits ‘These Days’, ‘Waiting All Night’, ‘Feel The Love’, and plenty of other tunes you’re bound to have heard on repeat, they promise to put on a great finale for fans following an unforgettable weekend both on, and off, the track.
Silverstone’s Commercial Director Nick Read said:
“Our long-term ambition has always been to establish Silverstone as a venue that attracts the biggest and best artists in the world to put on a spectacular show for the British fans. It’s an honour to announce Stormzy, Pete Tong and Rudimental as the first names on our line-up for the 2024 British Grand Prix."
“We knew we had a massive job on our hands following the great success of this year’s music offering, so we are thrilled to be able to take things up another notch - with more huge global acts still to be announced!”
Stay tuned to see who'll headline Thursday’s Opening Concert that last year saw superstar DJ Calvin Harris, Jess Glynne, and Cat Burns take to the main stage for a memorable night of partying that opened the British Grand Prix weekend with a bang. We’ll be announcing more over the coming weeks!
