There’s plenty of excitement planned for this year’s Formula 1® Rolex British Grand Prix 2019!

Live acts and bands will be performing on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday of this year’s British Grand Prix, on the main stage in the F1 Fan Zone!

Silverstone will be rocking it on and off the track with British indie band Razorlight headlining the main stage on Friday night of the FORMULA 1 ROLEX BRITISH GRAND PRIX 2019.

The world renowned Craig David presents TS5 DJ show will be on the main stage on Saturday night. Selling 16 million albums worldwide, more than 10 million single sales and 500 million single streams and a huge FORMULA 1 fan himself, this British artist will undoubtedly get the party started.

Grammy Award winning R&B chart toppers Soul II Soul are set to perform post – race on Sunday rounding up a weekend of brilliant music sure to keep you dancing through the weekend!



Inner Track – SOLD OUT

In Inner Track, you can also access the viewing banks inside Copse, Becketts Inside and The Loop and experience a different perspective on the action. In addition, fans will be able to gain behind-the-scenes access to the national and support race paddocks which reside in the historic base of Formula 1 at Silverstone.

  • Access to the centre of the circuit from 08:00 – 18:00 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday
  • Roving access to an exclusive section of the Paddock Grandstand which is adjacent to the F1 Paddock
  • Access to the National Paddock and Support Race Paddocks (does not include inside the  F1™ paddock)
  • Opportunity to watch the track action from within the inner track zone including Copse inside, Becketts inside and the Loop
  • Access to the FIA Formula 2, GP3 Series, Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup and Masters Historic paddocks
  • Pit Stop Café and Silverstone Hub access
  • Access to the road directly behind the Formula 1 Paddock (The Wing paddock – but please note there is no access into the actual F1 paddock)



Alicia Lowes

An established soprano in the classical crossover world, Alicia Lowes will sing the national anthem at Sunday’s opening ceremony. She has supported Coldplay in the Sentebale Concert at Kensington Palace alongside Joss Stone, Laura Muvula, George The Poet and Nico & Vinz. She has sung to the crowds at Twickenham Stadium before the Rugby World Cup Final, performed the national anthem at The Olympic Stadium in London to open The World Para Athletics Championships and regularly entertains troops through the British Forces Foundation and The Sun Military Awards, which Alicia has performed at for the last four consecutive years.

Thoughout her career she has sung at many other prestigious events, singing for royalty and well known public figures – these include The Pope, the Prime Minister and Prince Harry to name a few. This July will see the launch of Alicia’s single, a classical cover of ‘Ordinary World’ by Duran Duran.


Entertainment Zone

The Entertainment Zone, is full of plenty of activities to keep the whole family entertained and is located next to the main stage. All entertainment is FREE (excluding the Giant Wheel)

F1 Fanzone

The F1 Fanzone is next to the main stage and offers free entertainment on site over the weekend.

The entertainment line up for 2019 is not yet finalised but you can expect F1 themed entertainment!




Family Zone

The Family Zone is on the outside of National Pits Straight in the Silverstone UTC and has both an indoor and outdoor area catering for the younger fans.

Academy of FUN! return to the British Grand Prix with the Builders’ Zone with loads of Lego play and special workshops, and the Creative Zone with not-too-messy making and lots of resources and ideas to inspire.

In the Builders’ Zone, here’ll be Lego car making and racing with mini-tournaments as we find our Family Zone Grand Prix champions with our dinky-but-daunting racetrack. But with so much Lego you can make whatever you please! Our brilliant Builders will be on hand to help…

New this year, we will present special Lego workshop sessions you can book in advance – they are totally free tho! Themes will include Lego Zoo with monkeys, elephants and giraffes to start us off, Lego Puzzles and Challenges (a lot of problem solving and ingenuity needed), Make a Model Village and the Fairground Attraction – where everyone helps make a working Ferris Wheel!.

Our Creative Zone includes lots of crafting resources and this year we will be making jewellery, headwaer and festival-type gear to really enjoy the celebratory sprit at the British Grand Prix/ We will also be making brilliant Pipe Cleaner Ninjas and Crowns. Most importantly, our Creatives will let our visitors take the creative lead and will help you realise your vision!

Our Active Zone is for 0-5 year olds and includes competing in superhero- training boot camp with mini assault courses. Families can also take part in the fun pentathlon and for older children there is a giant jenga, twister and human size hungry hippos.

We will be open Friday to Sunday from 8.30-6pm, ready to help your family take a breather, have fun together and to make lots of awesome things. See you there!

MANTRA (The MANufacturing TRAnsporter)

Get hands on experience with the lastest VR and 3D technologies, designed to give aspiring engineers and families a hands- on experience with real cutting edge technologies including

  • 3D printer


A SUPERSONIC CAR!! – Bloodhound SSC are in the process of a unique engineering adventure and building a 1000mph car. During the wekeend they will be putting on workshops to engineer your own model rocket car

  • Introduction to the Model Rocket Car Workshop
  • What to consider when designing and building your own model rocket car
  • Attach wheels and stylize the finished car
  • Race Cars
  • Race cars under timed conditions
  • Race cars against each other in competition mode




Sports Zone

Perfect for sports fans, the Sports Zone is situated at Stowe corner.

All activities in this zone are FREE!


Street Zone

Back by popular demand is the Street Zone which can be found on the outside of Becketts and features:

  • Mask Busters posing in bronze, silver and gold with members of the public
  • Danny & Co Barbershop – FREE
  • Live painting from Formula Art

Our famous post-race track walk

We will once again have the post-race track walk taking place on Sunday after the Formula 1® race.

More information about the access points will follow closer to the event but it’s not one to be missed!

The Falcons Parachute Display Team

The Red Arrows  – Displaying since 1965, The Red Arrows are one of the premier aerobatic teams in the world

The Royal Air Force Falcons Parachute Display Team

Widely recognised as the UK’s premier military parachute display team, the RAF Falcons, based at Royal Air Force Brize Norton, Oxfordshire, will showcase a brilliant parachute display during the race weekend.

Display parachuting is one of the most difficult types of parachuting and requires hard work, a high level of skill and, most importantly, trust in other team members and their equipment. This is why the RAF Falcons are Britain’s premier Parachute Display Team.

You can look forward to a variety of movements across the sky in freefall using coloured smokes and a demonstration of close proximity flying under canopy which includes the famous Falcons’ non-contact canopy stack.

Bond In Motion 

This Bond In Motion exhibition includes vehicles that span 6 decades of Bond history. Both Bond and his adversaries vehicles are here. From Goldfinger’s 1937 Rolls-Royce Phantom III to Spectre’s Aston Martin DB10. The Lotus Esprit S1 submarine is a superlative example of Sir Ken Adam’s remarkable imagination. The two Quantum Of Solace Aston Martin DBS’ give you a chance to compare the ‘before Bond gets behind the wheel’ to the ‘mission accomplished’ condition.
