Launch Party Ballot Terms and Conditions

Who can enter

Launch Party Ballot (the ballot) is open to the lead booker of weekend or day tickets for the 2023 Formula 1 British Grand Prix, providing they are aged 16 years or over. Each lead booker will be able to apply for the same number of ballot entries as the number of British Grand Prix tickets linked to their account.

Unlike our standard competitions and prize draws, the ballot is open to all lead bookers of weekend or day tickets for the 2023 Formula 1 British Grand Prix, irrespective of where they are resident. Therefore the provision in our General Competition Terms and Conditions stating “you must be a resident of the United Kingdom” to enter does not apply to the ballot.

Only one ballot application will be accepted per booker. Multiple entries from the same person will not be counted. Amendments to the ballot application will not be able to be made once the application is submitted.

Any bulk ticket purchase bookings, i.e. any order in excess of ten (10) tickets and/or passes (or any number of orders resulting in the same Purchaser receiving in excess of ten (10) tickets and/or passes) will not be permitted to enter the ballot; that activity is prohibited by Clause 8 of our Formula One British Grand Prix 2023 Terms and Conditions.

Opening and Closing Date & Time

The ballot will be open from 10.00 BST on Wednesday 12 April 2023. Ballot will close at 17.00 BST on Monday 17 April 2023. No applications will be accepted after this date and time.

Prize

All successful ballot applicants will be provided with the same number of free tickets to the Launch Party event, as the ballot entry’s requested in the original ballot application.

No cash equivalent (where applicable) or alternative prize will be given at the request of the successful applicant and the prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable. Tickets to the Launch Party event must not be resold. Any tickets that are resold will result in cancellation of Launch Party and British Grand Prix tickets related to the resale.

How to enter & cost of entry

Entry into the ballot will take place via the link emailed to all weekend and day British Grand Prix ticket holders. Ballot entry is free of charge.

It is the responsibility of any successful ballot applicant to inform the prize provider of any wheelchair or similar access requirements when taking up the Launch Party event tickets, and to adhere to any applicable health and safety guidelines.  General terms and conditions apply.

Ballot selection & contact

All successful applicants for the ballot will be notified within 2 weeks of the closing date.

Subject to eligibility and compliance with all applicable terms and conditions, ballot selection will be made at random from all eligible entries, prioritising those with weekend British Grand Prix tickets.

The successful applicants will be contacted via email and will be sent a message in accordance with the Silverstone General Competition Terms and Conditions.
