2026 BTCC calendar: Full schedule & race dates confirmed
07 May 2025The 2026 British Touring Car Championship calendar has been revealed, giving fans, teams and partners nearly a full year of build-up and anticipation for the following season.
2026 BTCC calendar & key dates
The BTCC continues its tradition of delivering high-octane racing across 10 action-packed weekends, with each round once again featuring three fiercely contested races.
Early season charge & calendar shake-up
The 2026 season fires into life at Donington Park on 18-19 April, followed by the tight and twisty Brands Hatch Indy just three weeks later.
Snetterton returns for Round 3 in late May, before the series heads to Oulton Park in early June for its final stop before the summer break.
This year, the calendar has been subtly reshaped due to ITV’s coverage of the 2026 football World Cup. As a result, the traditional summer break has been brought forward, giving teams a slightly more measured start to the year.
Thruxton returns in the summer holidays
The high-speed Thruxton circuit will now run during the school summer holidays on 25-26 July, providing fans with a perfect family-friendly weekend of racing during the height of summer.
Back north for Knockhill & Donington GP
The second half of the campaign kicks off with BTCC’s much-loved Scottish round at Knockhill on 8-9 August. That’s followed by the return to Donington Park, this time using the Grand Prix layout two weeks later.
Croft moves to September, Silverstone sets the stage
In a change from recent years, Croft now takes a September slot (5-6 September), shaking up the run-in to the championship climax.
Silverstone retains its penultimate round status, though, on 26-27 September, where title narratives are defined ahead of the season finale.
A champion to be crowned at Brands Hatch GP
The curtain comes down on the BTCC season at Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit in October, when the 2026 British Touring Car Champion will be crowned.
