Introducing Escapade Silverstone's Sculpture Park

Silverstone has always been hallowed ground for motorsport enthusiasts. But now, the iconic circuit brings a thrilling new art installation with the unveiling of a sculpture park at its trackside hotel and restaurant, Escapade Silverstone.

Nestled trackside at the iconic Northamptonshire circuit, Escapade Silverstone already houses an impressive £2 million collection of motorsport-inspired art, with work from the likes of Andy Warhol, Damien Hirst, Keith Haring, and David Yarrow all elevating the atmosphere. Now, twelve extraordinary outdoor sculptures by exclusively British artists join this cultural exhibition at the Home of British Motorsport.

"The Escapade Silverstone Sculpture Park is a space where the worlds of fine art and motorsport collide in the most captivating way," explains world-renowned Art Director Renata Fernades, who curated the collection. "Each piece has been thoughtfully curated to reflect the passion, innovation, and legacy of racing, while championing the exceptional talent of British sculptors. We’re proud to present a collection that is not only visually powerful but also ever-evolving – offering guests a truly unique and immersive cultural experience at the heart of Silverstone."

The Sculptures on Display at Escapade Silverstone

The sculpture park includes stand-out examples of British sculpture, with each piece intrinsically connected to the spirit of motorsport:

Power and Presence: Lord & Lama's imposing Gorilla commands attention, while Michael Turner echoes this primal energy with his own stainless-steel Gorilla—both sculptures embodying the raw power synonymous with racing.

Automotive Roots: Jonny Ambrose's Skeletal, a breathtaking carbon fibre and aluminium interpretation of the legendary Porsche 917K, captures automotive design at its most elegant. Tom Hill's Ferrari GTO pays refined tribute to one of motoring's most iconic silhouettes.

Motion and Mythology: Sarah Mae Francis transforms car parts and sheet metal into Enzo, a dynamic horse that demands attention. Her Knight (affectionately known as Mr Silver Stone) stands as a powerful figure at the circuit.

The collection continues with Holly Hickmore's foundry bronze Olympian, channelling classical athleticism; Will Carr's minimalist Fluidity, capturing movement in suspended form; and Tom Hill's dramatic Velociraptor, bringing prehistoric imagery to the modern racing landscape.

What makes this sculpture park particularly special is its ever-changing selection of works. All pieces are available for purchase, meaning the collection will continuously evolve, sold pieces making way for fresh perspectives from new artists.
