SRC x Kart Silverstone: Members take to the track for the first time

SRC members among the first on track at Kart Silverstone! 

On Sunday 15 March, Silverstone Racing Club hosted an exclusive testing day at Kart Silverstone, ahead of the track’s official opening on 30 March. 

Open to Full Circuit and Grid members, along with friends and family, the day saw an impressive turnout of novice to expert racers and spectators. Members of all ages, from juniors to adults, tested their pace and cornering skills, enjoying an exclusive opportunity to try out our new world-class kart track. 

While the event was all about fun, the competitive spirit was strong as drivers went head-to-head with fellow members, friends, parents, children and siblings! The morning sessions were blessed with glorious sunshine and clear blue skies, but by the afternoon, grey clouds and rain added an extra layer of challenge to the racing!

Between the thrilling laps, everyone enjoyed the sunshine, the atmosphere, and of course some well-earned pizza!
