A packed schedule of two-wheeled action at the British Grand Prix MotoGP 2026 is almost here! Three days of intense, two-wheeled competition await, with MotoGP and plenty of support categories in action. Practice is on Friday, qualifying and the Sprint on Saturday, and the main event on Sunday.

Whether it's your first visit to the event or you're a seasoned pro, here's everything you need to know to make your weekend one to remember.

Ticketing: Get race ready

Silverstone Tickets App

Access to the event is 100% digital. Make sure you've downloaded the Silverstone Tickets App, logged in, and have your tickets ready before you arrive at the gates. We'd also recommend updating the app to the latest version for the smoothest experience.

What's included with General Admission

Switch up your view throughout the weekend with access to a number of roving grandstands and viewing areas around the circuit. Rove into the covered grandstands on Friday (Abbey B, Becketts, Club Corner and Hamilton Straight A), and the uncovered grandstands on Saturday and Sunday (Abbey A, Hamilton Straight B, Vale, Village A and Silverstone Six), all of which are first-come, first-served.

Kids under 16 get 50% off, and under-11s go free. Every ticket also includes access to the main stage entertainment, fanzones and Silverstone Museum.

Ticket prices increase from 3 August, so it's worth booking sooner rather than later. Tickets are available online only, and resale isn't permitted under Silverstone's terms and conditions.

In-ear radios & programmes

Grab an official MotoGP radio to hear live commentary wherever you are on site, and pick up a commemorative programme filled with exclusive content, rider profiles and more.

Kart Silverstone

MotoGP ticket holders get exclusive access to Kart Silverstone, a brand-new outdoor karting circuit. Go at your own pace in an open lap session, or battle it out for the podium in a Silverstone 30 race.

Silverstone Museum

MotoGP ticket holders get free entry to Silverstone Museum all weekend, with exhibits spanning the decades of British motorsport history, a great way to fill any downtime between sessions.

Entertainment off-track

Head to the main stage each evening for live performances from headliners General Levy, James Toseland and Rick Parfitt JNR Band. 

There's plenty more to fill your downtime, too:

• Fanzone entertainment: racing simulators, VR games, a funfair and more
• Harley-Davidson Fanzone: bike displays, simulator challenges, live DJs and rider autograph sessions
• Bike Lovers Paradise: browse the Manufacturer Zone for the latest from KTM, Aprilia, Ducati and more, including confirmed rider signings
• For the youngsters: hamsterzorbs, axe throwing, football darts and other family-friendly activities

Be prepared

Parking & travel

Motorbike parking is free and located at the circuit's main gate, though you'll still need to book a space. It’s best to do this at the same time as your event ticket, or via the Extras tab if you've already bought yours.

Car parking spaces are limited, and roads can get busy, so allow extra time for your journey. Prices start from £10, and on arrival you should follow the blue public parking route, where the traffic team will direct you to your car park.

Milton Keynes station is under an hour from London or Birmingham, and under two hours from Nottingham or Manchester. A pre-paid shuttle bus runs from the station straight to the gates – just a 2-minute drop from there – from £15 per person return. Book this alongside your ticket, or via the Extras tab afterwards.

Stay ahead of the weather

Silverstone was once an airfield, and that open setting means unpredictable weather can roll in at any moment. It's all part of the experience, but you need to be prepared for all conditions during any one day at the circuit:

• Umbrella or poncho
• Waterproof footwear
• Sunglasses, suncream and a hat
• Layers – a warm jumper never goes amiss!

Staying dry and comfortable can make all the difference, especially if you're not seated in a covered grandstand.

Stay hydrated

Bring a reusable water bottle, which can be refilled at dedicated stations located around the venue.

Food and drink

Explore a huge range of food and drink stalls across the circuit, with options for every taste. From global street food to British favourites, there's something for everyone.

Stay fully charged

Your phone will be your most-used tool at Silverstone, from tickets and photos to apps and maps. Bring a portable charger so you're never caught out with a dead battery.

• Bag policy: one bag per person (max. 20L – around A4 size)
• Prohibited items: no alcohol, glass, BBQs, drones, weapons, fireworks or parasols. View the full list.
• Security checks will be in place – give yourself plenty of time on arrival
• Child tickets must be used with an accompanying adult
• Accessibility: a limited number of accessible car parking spaces are available near one of the main entrances.
