AN EVENING WITH CALUM NICHOLAS

SRC had a recognisable face from the Red Bull Racing garage, Calum Nicholas, as our guest for the evening at this exclusive members only event.

Fresh off the release of his new book, 'Life in the Pitlane', Calum came to talk about life next to the track, what it's like working as an F1 mechanic and to tell us some interesting stories from beyond the garage!

From laugh-out-loud moments to jaw-dropping behind-the-scenes stories, Calum gave us a unique glimpse into life as a top Formula 1 mechanic. He shared everything from who picks the team playlist, to which teams are the best packers at the end of the race, his favourite track, his favourite race and what it’s really like working with Christian Horner and Max Verstappen. 😎 

One of the highlights was hearing what’s next for Cal. After years in the pit lane, he’s stepped into an exciting new role as a Red Bull Racing Ambassador. He’s staying in the sport he loves while getting involved with incredible initiatives like STEMx, which inspires and empowers the next generation of motorsport minds.
