Formula 1 and the FIA confirmed the 2026 F1 calendar on Tuesday, 10 April, featuring 24 races across five continents.
The season starts with the Australian Grand Prix on 6-8 March and concludes with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on 4-6 December.

Australian Grand Prix to remain as 2026 F1 season opener
The fan-favourite Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne remains the season opener in 2026. After reclaiming this position in 2025, starting the year Down Under has proven a hit with fans and teams, setting an exciting tone for the campaign.

F1 2026 calendar to prioritise sustainability and regionalisation
In line with Formula 1’s commitment to achieving net zero carbon by 2030, the 2026 F1 schedule continues emphasising regional race groupings to minimise travel emissions and improve efficiency for teams and logistics partners.
The early-season swing through Australia, China, and Japan – which debuted successfully in 2024 – remains a feature of the 2026 calendar.
From there, the season is set to flow through the European summer classics, before heading to the Americas and Middle East for the dramatic final rounds.
