Silverstone Festival Welcomes Griot's Garage as Official Car Care Partner

  • Admired US specialist launches its benchmark products in the UK
  • Celebrating 35 years of pacesetting excellence in sparkling style
  • Product giveaways for car club members displaying their classics

The wait is nearly over: one of the US’s most respected names in car care – Griot’s Garage – is not only coming to the UK but is launching its long-awaited debut at this summer’s Silverstone Festival.

Founded by Richard Griot in 1990, after being unable to find car care products that met his high standards for his own beloved vehicles, Griot’s Garage has earned a loyal following among discerning car enthusiasts across the US and beyond.

From the beginning, Griot’s commitment to excellence has remained unwavering. The company develops, manufactures, and bottles its own premium products in the US, ensuring superior quality. Every product marketed by Griot’s Garage has always carried a 100 per cent Lifetime Guarantee against defects.

Now, after 35 years, these revered car care products and accessories will be available to UK enthusiasts seeking world-class finishes for their cherished vehicles – whether modern or classic, for road or race.

As the Official Car Care Partner of Silverstone Festival, Griot’s Garage will have the ideal stage to introduce its full product line to car club members, competitors and racing paddock professionals. The Festival is a perfect fit for Griot’s Garage and its passionate founders.

Both founder Richard and his son Nick – now the company's CEO – are dedicated petrolheads who enjoy restoring, driving, and refining all things automotive. The family is well known in the historic motorsport scene and owns several iconic vehicles, including Bruce McLaren’s M6A, which won the Can-Am title in 1967.
“The authentic enthusiasts, vintage racers, and multitude of nationally organised clubs that gather at the Silverstone Festival make it the perfect place for Griot’s Garage to debut in the UK,” said Nick Griot. “We could not be more excited to be part of this incredible tradition.”

In addition to showcasing the brand, Griot’s Garage will treat the thousands of car club members displaying their classics at the Festival with exclusive product giveaways throughout the Bank Holiday weekend. The company will also be featured in the bustling Shopping Village, where visitors can meet the Griot’s team and learn more.

“We welcome Griot’s Garage as the new Car Care Partner to the 2025 Silverstone Festival,” said Nick Wigley, Event Director. “The company’s reputation as an industry leader speaks for itself. For those already familiar, this UK launch is a long-awaited moment. For newcomers, the wide range of waxes, polishes, buffers, restorers, and detailers – and the show-stopping results they deliver – will be a revelation.”

As always, the Silverstone Festival will feature more than 100 car clubs displaying thousands of beloved classic models for the public to admire. Registered club members can take advantage of a 2-for-1 ticket offer when booking a display package.

For everyone else, a broad range of ticket options is available, including camping and hospitality packages, and all tickets include access to a wealth of family-friendly entertainment across the Bank Holiday weekend. This includes live music from headliners Natasha Bedingfield, Craig David presents TS5, and Ministry of Sound Classical, plus traditional funfair rides, stunt shows, the World Champions Collection celebrating 75 years of F1, and much more. Children aged 15 and under attend for free when accompanied by an adult.
