MotoGP 2026 kicks off in Thailand

The 2026 MotoGP calendar will once again begin at Chang International Circuit in Thailand from 27 February to 1 March, kicking off an exciting season of action.

An anticipated return to Brazil

After over two decades away, Brazil is back on the MotoGP calendar for 2026, with the Ayrton Senna Circuit set to host Round 2. The country last hosted a Grand Prix in 2004, making its return one of the most highly anticipated moments of the season.

Calendar reshuffle for Central European rounds

Several rounds in Central Europe have been repositioned in the 2026 MotoGP calendar. Both Balaton Park (Hungary) and Brno (Czech Republic) now appear earlier in the season, while Red Bull Ring (Austria) has been moved to mid-September, just ahead of the season’s final flyaway phase.

Silverstone reclaims August slot

After shifting to May for the 2025 campaign, the British Grand Prix at Silverstone reclaims its traditional summer slot in August, scheduled for 7-9 August.

Flyaway races & a compressed season finale

The 2026 MotoGP calendar features a familiar run of flyaway races in the back end of the year in Indonesia, Japan and Australia before returning to Europe for a final double-header in Portimão and Valencia. Riders will face a demanding end to the season with four races in five weeks.
