• 4 kilometres of illuminated track awaits you, making Lap of Lights one of the largest light trails in the world. That's the same legendary asphalt where Formula 1 champions have made history, now reimagined as a festive wonderland that surrounds you from every angle.
• 10 spectacular activations guide your journey around Silverstone, each one a unique blend of light, sound, and special effects. From the Glittering Gateway at Maggotts to the Aurora Apex's Northern Lights at Vale, every corner tells a different story where racing heritage meets seasonal spirit.

The Light Technology Behind the Magic

Creating the UK's largest light trail requires serious technical firepower:

• 7,340 LED panels illuminate the circuit, all choreographed to create jaw-dropping displays that guide you along your magical journey.
• 506 LED pars and floods bathe the track in festive glow, while 374 moving heads create dynamic lighting effects that dance across the famous corners of Stowe, Club, Abbey and more.  
• 548 pixel tubes and nodes add intricate detail to every installation, ensuring no two moments look the same as you navigate through Sledspeed Straight and Reindeer Raceway.
• 35 lasers cut through the winter night, creating mesmerising shows that transform the likes of Hangar Straight and the Hamilton Straight into corridors of light.
   

Built for Wonder

• 37 custom structures line the circuit, purpose-built to house the spectacular displays that tower above the track. These installations are custom designed to immerse you completely in the experience.
• 105 Christmas props bring the festive spirit to life, from giant illuminated candy canes at Club Corner to themed installations that celebrate both motorsport and the magic of the season.
• 25 special effects units add the wow factor with CO2 jets, EcoJets, flames, snow, and even bubbles! The Lap of Lights is a multi-sensory experience that goes far beyond just lights and lasers.
