The eBay Mainstage
Over on the eBay Mainstage, Ollie Bearman joined Greg James, Betty Glover, and Christian Hewgill for a special live episode of The Fast and The Curious podcast, while Lando Norris and George Russell took to the stage, speaking in front of the home crowd.
Opening the weekend’s musical acts were Blossoms and Thursday headliner Sam Fender who made the opening concert one to remember.
The Drivers Inn Stage
Meanwhile, on the Drivers Inn Stage, expert panels including ‘Meet the Admins’, a ‘Drive to Survive panel’ and a 2026 regulations talk gave fans in-depth industry insight.
During the driver press conference, Lando Norris spoke about the levels of anticipation surrounding his home race:
“I’m very excited about everything. We did Trafalgar Square yesterday which was pretty special, and I went over to the stands earlier this morning. Of course, coming off of Austria is a nice feeling too so I’m ready to get going.”
He was then asked if a win at Silverstone would be the crowning moment of his career so far:
“It’s tough to put anything above Monaco, but I said that if I could swap all race wins for one, it would be for a Silverstone win. They’d be different for different reasons. Monaco is about the history, what it means to everyone, the people who have won there. Silverstone is because it’s my home race and it’s the British fans, the Lando fans. All those guys. It’s the one that, since I first started watching F1, I wanted to win the most.”
