01 September 2025Think Silverstone and you’ll likely think Formula 1 or MotoGP. But in recent years, the music on offer at some of the venue’s headline events has made it a UK hotspot for catching some of the biggest names in music. And 2025 was no different.
Across F1, MotoGP and Silverstone Festival, the circuit has hosted a chart-topping line-up of bands, artists and DJs to rival some of the country’s most popular music-centric festivals.
Whether you were in search of indie anthems, nostalgic throwbacks or dance floor fillers, Silverstone’s summer soundtrack had something for everyone…
Formula 1: Grand Prix action by day, festival atmosphere by night
The British Grand Prix 2025 is the biggest weekend on the UK’s motorsport calendar, and this year’s live music only enhanced the experience even further across two spectacular stages.
- Thursday: Sam Fender’s catchy indie rock numbers were the main event of the opening night concert, supported by indie favourites Blossoms.
- Friday: Raye took the stage the following night with her powerhouse vocals, supported by Dakota.
- Saturday: Legendary DJ Fatboy Slim’s anthems kept the energy sky-high, supported by Live Forever’s Brit Pop Anthems.
- Sunday: Closing out the race weekend, Becky Hill brought the dancefloor hits, supported by the nostalgia-packed Rhythm of the 90s.
MotoGP: An alternative sound
The MotoGP British Grand Prix wasn’t just about the best racing on two wheels, it was also a weekend of live music designed to keep fans buzzing long after the revving engines had faded.
- Friday: DJ Mistajam kicked things off on Friday night, supported by BL3SS.
- Saturday: Noughties indie favourites Hard-Fi took to the stage, with Rockology supporting.
- Sunday: Alternative singer-songwriter Jake Bugg rounded out the weekend with support from Casey Lowery.
Silverstone Festival: Retro anthems and family favourites
The Silverstone Festival is known for bringing classic cars and retro racing to life, but when the on-track action quietens down, the main stage fires up. This year’s line-up was all about three unmissable nights of nostalgia.
- Friday: Pop singer Natasha Bedingfield headlined the opening night, supported by Andrew Cushin.
- Saturday: Then it was up to Craig David presents TS5 to bring the party energy on Saturday night, supported by Sapphire.
- Sunday: Ministry of Sound Classical closed the weekend with a euphoric orchestral twist on dance anthems, supported by Jaguar Skills.
