Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship 26-27 September 2020 FAQ’s

PLEASE NOTE: We will be sending an email to all the fans which will give full details on how you request either a refund or transfer.  We ask for your patience as we put this process in place.

Can I transfer my 2020 ticket(s) to 2021?
Of course, we can’t wait to welcome you to Silverstone in 2021. We are sending out emails to all ticket holders which will give you all the details you need on how to request your transfer.

Is there a confirmed 2021 race date?
The confirmed BTCC date is 25/26 September 2021.

Can I get a refund on my order?
Whilst we’ll be sad not to see you at the British Touring Car Championship 2021 of course we can arrange a refund for your order. We are sending out emails to all ticket holders which will give you all the details you need on how to request a refund.

What is the deadline to apply for a refund?
All requests for a refund must be submitted by the 31 October 2020.

What is the value of my refund?
You can rest assured that you will receive a full refund to mirror the value paid to SCL at the time of booking and as verified on your email confirmation.

How long will it take to get my refund?
We aim to complete all straightforward refunds within three months of request. As we are currently processing large numbers of transactions, the refund process will take a couple of weeks. If there is an issue with your card, we will contact you and ask for bank transfer details as an alternative method. Please bear with us during this time.

My card has expired / is no longer held since making my booking, what should I do?
Don’t worry, if you have selected to refund your ticket(s) our system will flag if the card has expired/cancelled and our team will be in touch over the next few weeks to help with the refund transaction. 

I paid by bank transfer or cash, how can I arrange a refund?
If you paid by bank transfer or cash please contact a member of the team on 2020eventsc19@silverstone.co.uk and we’ll be back in touch to arrange this for you.

I wish to amend/add to my order – is this possible?
Of course our team are happy to help. We ask that you contact us by email with your booking reference and contact details via enquiries@silverstone.co.uk.

Can I transfer to 2022?
Unfortunately we are unable to offer transfers to 2022 and beyond.

I didn’t buy directly from Silverstone, can I get a refund?
You should still be entitled to refund, you will need to contact the supplier of your ticket.

I bought child ticket(s) and my child will be an adult in 2021 – if I transfer to next year, what should I do?
We look forward to welcoming you in 2021. Please follow the links in your email to request to transfer your current booking. We will transfer your child ticket(s) to ensure these are valid for 2021.

I have tickets purchased for the April 2020 BTCC race, what should I do?
You will be receiving a full refund on your purchase. Please refer to the April FAQs page for information.

I can’t see the answer to my particular question, what should I do?
Please don’t worry, please contact a member of the team who will be back in touch to investigate your request.
