The World's Foremost
Domestic GT Series
The Intelligent Money British GT Championship’s most prestigious and longest event - the three-hour Silverstone 500 - returns to its regular summer slot this June when a packed grid of GT3 and GT4 supercars do battle around the full Arena GP circuit.
With GT World Challenge Europe and FIA WEC both absent this year, British GT - one of the UK’s premier series - represents your best chance to see race-spec supercars pushed to their limits by a host of international factory drivers.
Victory for Sandy Mitchell and Rob Collard at 2020’s rescheduled round last November helped Barwell Motorsport’s Lamborghini duo win the GT3 title, while Jamie Caroline and Daniel Vaughan (TF Sport, Aston Martin) finished second in GT4 to claim the class drivers’ crown.
Following the Government announcement delaying the move to Step 4 of the roadmap until 19 July, the Intelligent Money British GT Championship round will take place with current government regulations. Spectating areas available will remain limited to the Luffield, and Copse A grandstands, with socially distanced reserved seating.
Ticket holders will also be able to view from the adjacent general viewing areas abiding to the social distancing guidelines, see map below.
- We have to conform to the prevailing government and Motorsport UK regulations, so as and when we are officially informed of any changes to these, we will be able to respond and provide additional access.
- British GT will take place as a socially distanced event under the current regulations.
- As we’re working to current government regulations, our venue is operating within a restricted area for spectators.
